Rachel Nichols, Jackie MacMullan and Scottie Pippen play “Make or Miss,” talking about Stephen Curry’s epic trolling of James Harden during Golden State Warriors vs. Houston Rockets Game 1, Al Horford blocking Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jaylen Brown dunking on the Greek Freak during Game 1 of Boston Celtics vs. Milwaukee Bucks, and the San Antonio Spurs not fouling the Denver Nuggets late in Game 7 of their series in the 2019 NBA playoffs. They then (2:01) talk about the future of Gregg Popovich, Derrick White, Dejounte Murray an d

I would trade DeRozan and the 2 1st round picks for the Lakers pick

    • Makaveli97

      April 30, 2019 at 12:33 am

That is the dumbest trade ever

    • Darren Sepulveda

      April 30, 2019 at 12:36 am

How? Spurs have enough guards and could use a nice lottery pick to get another young star. The team they have now is at best a 2nd round team might as well finish the process and get young all the way and free up cap space

    • Makaveli97

      April 30, 2019 at 12:47 am

+Darren Sepulveda Trading DeRozan and 2 first rounders for 1 draft pick that has the 11th best odds at landing #1 in a top heavy draft… come on man. Outside of the top 3 there’s not much talent at all, trading all that for 1 pick is pointless. The Spurs lose too much for a gamble

    • Darren Sepulveda

      April 30, 2019 at 12:59 am

That’s why you let the Spurs scouts find the steal of the draft at like pick 9

    • Makaveli97

      April 30, 2019 at 1:04 am

+Darren Sepulveda Better to get two potential steals instead of just 1, and losing Derozan for the 9th pick isn’t worth it.

Spurs are looking scary and deep for next season!

    Dejounte Murray
    Derrick White
    DeMar DeRozan
    Davis Bertans
    LaMarcus Aldridge

Bench: Bryn Forbes, Rudy Gay (if he stays), Lonnie Walker IV, Jakob Poeltl, Patty Mills, Marco Belinelli, two first round draft picks! Plus any FA to replace Dante and Quincy.

    Watch out, league ???

we’re definitely starting LA and Jakob…….our record with 2 bigs was much better than us going small ball

Pop is stupid, how tf do u think you can win anything with your 2 top stars as playoff chokers. DeRozan and Aldridge are good guys but they don’t have the heart for big moments like Manu Tim or Tony. Obviously we don’t have those guys and it’s a new era but you still can’t win with heartless playoff chokers. Two low iq idiots shooting weak low percentage long to midrange jumpers in the fight of your life? Pathetic to be honest. A 40 year old Ginobili would have won that game when it was a 2 point game. What a change.

If Spurs can make 2nd round picks into stars imagine what they can do with 1st round picks.

  12. Gerimaya Whyte

    April 30, 2019 at 1:26 am

Glad Pop isnโ€™t retiring yet. Should be interesting to see where they go from here. Should have Murray back and the emergence of White. There were all kinds of reports of them signing Kristaps Porzingus. Obviously that wonโ€™t happen but Iโ€™m not sure with the Derozan acquisition if that ate up all of their cap space because this a pretty good free agency…

Time for Pop to resign or be fired. His anti-American leftism is not befitting this great game.

As a Spurs fan I’m worried that the emergence of Derrick White will make my boi Patty expandable

Spurs need some backup bigs and a backup small forward. They got a lot of guards Murray, White, Forbes, Belineli, Derozan. It’s the Spurs, they’ll be fine! They always find a way to be good.
