They’re deep. But no superstar. Got too many of the same type player. Also, teams are taking them serious now.

    • Donald Wilson

      November 15, 2019 at 7:53 am

They have to get MPJ more involved. Let him loose to attack, instead of trying to make him just a jump shooter.

    • Big Bee

      November 15, 2019 at 4:32 pm

How do you figure that teams weren’t “taking them seriously” last year? I’m pretty sure NBA teams knew they were good considering they only missed the playoffs by one game the year before.

      November 15, 2019 at 4:58 pm

@Djoga100 Take it easy. For this guy hitting back to back game winners is not something that makes you supestar but scoring 28 a game on 4-7 team as Kyrie does is.

They gonna play with more intensity as the season goes on. People still gonna say it’s because they aren’t “sneaking up” on teams anymore. But Denver gonna prove they still legit contenders. Like they proved people wrong last year

      November 15, 2019 at 2:39 am

this season they are considered a contender🤷🏼‍♂️

The only issue with the Nuggets is that they overachieved last season, therefore setting an unrealistic expectation going into this season when in-fact they have balanced out.

    • Keon5100

      November 15, 2019 at 2:32 am

Imo overachieving doesnt exsists, if you’ve done it before then you have no excuse not to do it again. There should be no reason not to expect them to be who they were last year if not better

    • 121212

      November 15, 2019 at 6:21 am

So how is their record so good this year ?

  7. Patrick Ellis

    November 15, 2019 at 2:29 am

Why is everyone crapping on the Nuggets? They’re joint second in the West – above Kawhi’s Clippers and Donic and KP in Dallas. They are one of the only teams in the league that has the backbone to ensure that it’s superstars don’t just stat pad. They play like a team and everyone’s shitting on Jokic cause he aint putting up 25? Why do you think the most successful team of the millenium are the Spurs? Because they had crazy talented players like Duncan, Parker and Manu prepared to distribute possession and play a role.

    • Big Bee

      November 15, 2019 at 4:26 pm

Why did you mention Dallas like their a powerhouse or something?

    • Genetic Freak

      November 15, 2019 at 11:10 pm

They have not played well all season. Last in pace of play and trust me that’s no lie, they play hot potato with the ball until there’s 4 seconds on the shot clock then get off a bad shot. They’ve got problems right now because they’re not making shots and their offense has been easily defended so far.

    • Cameron Luer

      November 16, 2019 at 10:21 pm

@Genetic Freak 10 games is all season? What a idiot 😁

Start Michael Porter Jr. That’ll solve the nuggets problems.

    • Asahd Khaled Executive Producer

      November 15, 2019 at 5:38 am

Nah. Murray has to take the next step for the nuggets to be a contender.

    • Noah Amankwaah

  11. Philip Young

    November 15, 2019 at 4:50 am

MPJ needs minutes simple as that. He can’t help if he’s playing under 10 min a game.

    • Donald Wilson

      November 15, 2019 at 7:49 am

Murray can play like trash on both ends and play almost 30 mins. MPJ gives up 6pts and only plays just 4 minutes. The kids probably already second guessing himself, which is not good.

    • Dj Wayne

      November 15, 2019 at 1:11 pm

He’s so liable on the defensive side tho. At times he looks lost

    • Donald Wilson

      November 15, 2019 at 1:38 pm

@Dj Wayne he is lost. The only way to get used to the speed of a real game is to play in a real game. Playing less than 10 minutes isn’t enough. He immediately gets yanked and benched wheever he makes a rookie mistake. I’m more concerned with Jokic’s defense and Murray’s garbage production on both sides.

    • Dj Wayne

      November 15, 2019 at 1:46 pm

Donald Wilson it has to be in a game when we have a secure lead

  12. Daniel Woolley

    November 15, 2019 at 5:11 am

They did do that against the 76ers though. And the margin was bigger

    • Nathan Shlapobersky

      November 15, 2019 at 9:01 am

The Sixers also have very serious problems to address on offense

    • Jordan Hutley

      November 15, 2019 at 12:59 pm

@Nathan Shlapobersky sure but they were used as an example of an “elite” team the nuggets couldn’t just come back on

    • MyNoseisDirty

      November 16, 2019 at 9:22 am

Jordan Hutley there 2nd best player was out that game Ben simmons

  13. 121212

Wrong team to be asking this question about..

  14. 121212

    November 15, 2019 at 6:23 am

Nuggets could really use a trade for a better wing. They have too many good players and not great and Jokic is not Dirk so it won’t win you a chip

  15. Omar Bonner

    November 15, 2019 at 7:31 am

Defense is the key for winning games

  16. TheTryHards

    November 15, 2019 at 10:44 am

    76ers?
They had a 19 point lead on the Nuggets going into the 4th

    • jshulman98

      November 15, 2019 at 12:41 pm

TheTryHards without Ben Simmons and a couple of horrible calls. We all now the Sixers fully healthy are much better than the Nuggets fully healthy

    • Sean Morrissey

      November 15, 2019 at 3:33 pm

      Yeah

    • Beto Borunda

      November 16, 2019 at 8:01 pm

jshulman98 you can’t judge that off of one game. While I admit they definitely have a better starting lineup, the Nuggets have more depth, definitely better scoring, and the nuggets have better team chemistry considering they have had their team built far sooner then the 76ers.they meet again once this season I believe. ima let that and a few more games decide who’s better.

  17. Jordan Hutley

    November 15, 2019 at 12:58 pm

They did come back on an “elite” team, the 76’s

    • Dan

      November 15, 2019 at 10:21 pm

      They’re not elite

    • Charles appalachia

      November 15, 2019 at 10:37 pm

@Dan that’s why he put it in quotations.

    • MyNoseisDirty

      November 16, 2019 at 9:21 am

Jordan Hutley did Ben Simmons play?

  18. RumFighter

    November 15, 2019 at 4:50 pm

I agree Nuggets don’t play “pretty” right now. But I am optimistic on the contrary. Nuggets are winning because 1) they play like REALLY good defense. Even not defense-first guys like Will Barton are playing insane on D. 2) They slowered the tempo A LOT. That is a plus thing, I believe. In playoffs teams that play defense and control the tempo, decide when to play fast, when to slow down, are usually those that wins. It makes Nuggets offense to suffer kind of. It’s a new thing for them and while playing “slower,” they sometimes have problem with less player movement then they need. And their offense is basically “everyone cut and pass, you’ll get an open look.” Some players are shooting bad so far. Well, if they start shooting as they are capable of AND will keep this defensive effort I have no worry. I have one issue with Nuggets. It’s nice to be deep. But they are TOO deep. Would love them making some trade like three good players for one very good. It’s pointless to have such a good players like Juancho to just sit on the bench. Or Beasley, who could start for a lot of NBA teams playing just 16 minutes a game.

  20. Ryan McKinney

    November 15, 2019 at 11:01 pm

Barkley says Nuggets can’t come back on 6ers and Shaq throwing an extra lost in the nuggets record. Why do these guys hate Denver?

  21. Allen Griggs

    November 16, 2019 at 2:18 am

Hmm this season started off kinda interesting but I’m sure that it’ll get better for most of the teams
