If the Lakers don’t win with this team, I think the NBA should come in and remake all the rules of investment each franchise is able to do. Big shut out to Steph Curry. Get well man.

I don’t remember dudes getting hurt like this in the 90’s NBA

Jason Heilman it’s a combination of a lot of things. But the game was overall slower back in the 90s. Guys are bigger and faster overall than they’ve ever been (not an argument of who had the best overall all stars, I still like the 90s here) but your average player is training significantly more today, the game is faster, and it’s (contrary to popular belief) actually more physical now. Guys are training harder than they have ever trained. Playing harder, so this naturally will put a strain on bodies. Couple all this with a shorter preseason and that might explain the rise in injuries.

He doesn’t have to shoot 40% from 3. The fact that he’s the 3rd guy on the team that can create his own shot is a big deal. He doesn’t have to be wide open to score, so when Lebron or AD is on the bench, they still have a guy who can score at all 3 levels on the court. He’s far more versatile than anyone on the team other than Lebron and AD. When AD and Lebron are both off the court, it’s painfully obvious the Lakers had a hard time finding shots. That will change with Kuzma on the floor.

Richard Jefferson is seriously talking rubbish here… Kuzma would have to guard Giannis?? Seriously?? They don’t have in the paint defenders?? Kuzma should look to be the on-ball defender Ben Simmons or Josh Richardson is… They have plenty inside… It’s the perimeter they are gonna lack
