Jerry West is greatest GM ever and always tells his players if you want to leave just tell me and ill make sure to get you out. Makes no sense to keep a guy who does not want to be there, it gets toxic as you can see. As a Laker fan, im happy this deal did not go down cuz i thought Lakers were giving up way too much. Celtics got prime KG in 2007 basically for Al Jefferson and then flipped him after he was done to the Nets for a haul of draft picks. Lakers were blocked from getting CP3 and David Stern ended up getting basically nothing for him by trading him to Clippers. Lakers were about to give up my favorite players Zo and Kuz along with BI, Hart, Zubac and 2 first rounders for a disgruntled superstar. If they get a better deal than that ill be shocked. I guarantee you that Ainge will not give you Tatum.

He should have been fired years ago, he shouldn’t have even been hired.

If the Pelicans had taken the Lakers offer for AD, Dell Demp’s would still be employed by the Pelicans right now!

He should have taken the offer to save his job but his personal hate/dislike and ego towards the Lakers got him fired!

Dell Demps got dumped because he was listening to WOJ, Ainge, Popovich and others. They were all trying to prevent him from trading AD to Lakers. Dell Dumbass!

Dell Demps . Fucking bitch. Now you can go home and keep taking it up your ass. Ruined the franchise over the last 10 years.

They really should have done this 2 months before trade deadline. Keeping AD just doesn’t make sense. Now you have a top 5 player on your squad who doesn’t want to be their. Compounded by the fact that they want him to play well to drive up the trade value but you also want to lose games to get the best possible draft pick. But in order for his value to be highest you need him to stay healthy. So there’s really no upside to playing Davis now. There’s something to be said for getting a full seasons head start to rebuilding and they should have taken half of the Lakers roster and those picks. That team would be better with Ball, kuzma, Ingram and zubac than it is right now with AD

They never brought any real talent to keep they’re star happy and that’s a damn shame the draft poorly as well so if your a small market find ways to acquire talent it’s no way they should of let boogie cousins go that easily then you let a vet like rondo go I mean come on bruh ?

I said this weeks ago. His fate was already sealed. In stead of talking to Pop, I would have done the deal with Magic and ask him for a new job in exchange. His job was lost in the summer not now

“Anybody who work for me, I make sure they know they work FOR me. We don’t work together. They work for me. They better do whatever the fuck I say or they gonna get fired. I can get somebody who can do what they do.” – Charles Barkley

In other words, go fuck yourself Rich Paul.

Woj pushed the story that the Celtics would have a better offer than the Lakers. So there, if you want that story, be prepared to not generate shared revenue for not having the Lakers in the playoffs this year with AD. Woj’s speculation on behalf of the Celtics hurt the league financially. Celtics will not offer the great Tatum, and the Pels let the deal of the decade slip right through their fingers.

I would rather get fired then trade AD to Lakers.

The Pelicans have shown that they don’t give a shit about that team. When you don’t resign Rondo and Cousins, it screams to Davis that your plan is to squeeze as much money out of him as you can. You don’t care about contending for shit. Now you’re upset that he sees through the lies

  23. SneakerDad1978

    February 17, 2019 at 6:28 pm

They made a franchise changing move last season trading for Boogie. Not resigning Rondo after the playoff run they had without boogie. and more importantly letting boogie walk after the assets they gave up to get him and letting him just don’t make sense.
They should of bite the bullet gave boogie what he wanted (knowing full well that no big name FA will ever goto NO). have Davis Rondo Holiday Randle Mirotic keep the team above 500 playoff. And have boogie come back to help make a big push up the standings to get to at least 4th seed. And and a deep playoff push with a fully healed boogie by the playoffs.
