The era of mixtapes is over.. it was on a steady decline over the years. YouTube favors watch time and long form videos. Mixtapes being 2-3 minutes meant they couldn’t get the traction they need. Also the fact that every game of every Hs hooper is released on YouTube and social
Media now immediately after games makes mixtapes less special.
Mixtapes will always be in our heart but sometimes you have to adept. We are grateful for the decade + of the mixtape era.
If you look around YouTube for other channels that post HS content you’ll see the downward trend.
