NBA finals are a joke. 2 days in between games is uncalled for and ridiculous. Thursday game #1 and Sunday for game #2…then not until Wednesday for game #3. ?

Gee. The team with an inside game and higher field goal percentage won. Shocking. Old-as- dirt Shaq, Olajawan, and Duncan could play right now and dominate inside. That’s how pathetic the NBA has become. Buncha jump-shooters.

I am actually very surprised in an era of Trump/Nationalism in the US, that a majority of US Sports and NBA fans are rooting for the Raptors. **Maybe someone please can explain why?* From from the polls and comments sections I seen here on YT and other online sites, other than California and Neveda the rest of the US is rooting for the Raps. I

Complete turnover from a generation ago involving the Toronto Blue Jays. Back in 1992/’93, other than the Stanley Cup Finals and NFL, the only other time that a NON US team making a major North American Championship Finals was in MLB’s World series, when of course the Blue Jays won back-back. I can’t find the polls from back then, but based from the national sports talk shows in the US back then, a lot of people across America was not happy about the Blue Jays. Just shows how times eras and attitudes in sports fans can change in a generation.

In fairness the Warriors lost with KD out (who is a key part of the team) and with Boogie recovering and practically out. Toronto is at full strength. So the Warriors only losing by that much with Toronto at their best and the Warriors not nearly at full strength, that’s saying something. KD comes back and Boogie gets full minutes, this hype for Toronto will be short lived. GS at full strength will smoke Toronto

Toronto put everyone on notice right away with this game 1 performance. The Raptors showed everyone they weren’t afraid of the warriors or the big stage and bright lights of the NBA Finals. Toronto wasn’t just happy to be there like many teams making their first appearance in the Finals would be, they showed up fully expecting to win. People say Toronto sweeping the head to head series 2-0 in the regular season didn’t mean anything, but I believe it gave them a lot of confidence going into this series knowing they could beat Golden State.

Yeah, the Raptors had mad disrespect thrown their way the whole time. What the Warriors and their fans didn’t realize was if you really think about it, this was literally the best team they faced in any of their 5 Finals appearances (the Cavs teams were too top heavy and disfunctional ). The Raptors had length, skill, shooting, depth etc,, literally everything the Cavs didn’t.

@Bearded Zoo Guy Compendium Raptors were definitely the best defence and overall team the Warriors have played in the finals during their 5 year run.
