Yeah… 19 years old, first overall pick, a full foot taller something stupid like 95% of the population, can handle the ball like a small forward. He deserves every little bit of hype he gets

Unfortunately that’s how the newheads and casuals judge players today.

Omg nobody has ever been guarded and passed the ball! It’s amazing basketball at it’s finest! The NBA where amazing happens!

@Nicolas Richard Have you ever heard of Nikola Jokic? Being at that size and being a good passser is extremely impressive, more impressive than being a good scorer. There’s only been a handful of good 7 foot passers in nba history. furthermore, you missed the whole point of the original video. She said no one at that size has ever been able to do that, which is true. We’ve never, in the history of basketball, seen someone 7’5 do quick dribble moves from the three point line and drive the ball and make a fancy pass. It’s not that no one ever has done a dribble move and passed it off, like you said in your comment. It was about someone THAT SIZE that could do that. A VERY simple point that you somehow are unable to grasp

      July 8, 2023 at 12:13 am

@A if people are hyped off his summer league because he made his first pass then great. Jokic became great and we are giving him his praises now but never off the first assist he made in summer league but because he built himself up. This guy debut in summer league is not the hype!

    • A

      July 8, 2023 at 12:25 am

@Nicolas Richard you simply don’t understand the point of the comment and the original video. No one at his size has ever had his skillset. It’s very simple to understand. This has nothing to do with hype. It’s an objective observation….it has nothing to do with if he’s even good or not. It’s just about the combination of Size + skillset which we’ve never seen before, which again is an objective observable fact.

      July 8, 2023 at 12:29 am

@A what was his summer league stat line tonight since that pass was amazing. Just give me his stat line tonight.

    • Nicolas Richard

      July 8, 2023 at 12:33 am

@A all I’m saying is it’s too much hype they putting on the guy! This is why the NBA have “bust” Let him have his process but to be hyped for every little thing is crazy. Not saying he isn’t a great prospect.

Espn wants him to be good so bad. He’s got such a long way to go on offense but can make an impact on defense right away. Just needs to make sure he blocks out

I know it’s his first game and it’s summer league. But the hype won’t translate. They are too athletic and strong at this level for him. He’ll be good but not a star imo. The nerve to say he’s the most touted since Lebron tho 🤦🏽‍♂️ man gets so much disrespect. Listening the the Paul George podcast and he had draymond on and dray thinks the same as me.. he ain’t scoring high at this level but he can be an immediate Defensive impact player.

He has 9 points he should have 15 to 20 mofos 7’5 and smaller guards are doing better than him
