Just think, the Sixers wanted to draft Ace Bailey. Ace didn’t bother to show up for their pre-draft workout so they passed and took VJ instead. It’s only been 3 games but Ace is averaging 2.7 ppg while shooting a red-hot 16% (3-19) from the field.

@MrCityslickerktmthe Sixers don’t do logical. They look at a whole host of things including the persons attitude, character, work ethic. They were also highly intrigued by VJs play with the Bahamian national team. Ace Baileys behavior in general they had question marks over even before he cancelled. If they took a logical approach they wouldn’t have gotten all short guards out of their draft. They could’ve chosen someone other than McCain last year too. Morey always drafts who he thinks will be the best nba player not what position he thinks they need. They def considered ace but they were pretty high on VJ too.

Embiid doesn’t need inspiration to get healthy, he is healthy, the team is just managing his minutes. The media has no idea what they’re talking about when it comes to Embiid.

Fax, the dude just got cleared for 5v5 practices less than 2 weeks ago lol, he’s played in 3 games, 1 was a preseason game where he put up a near triple dud in 18 minutes, he had a bad game against Boston going 1-9 in 20 min, but in his last game he was back to scoring a point a minute like usual, 20 point in 20 minutes but talking heads chooses to focus on the 1-9 game, because they didn’t watch the other ones, smh

They still have PG, who hasn’t really shown up for a couple of years, and rarely ever did in the playoffs. Maybe if they move that piece the gimpy Embiid might carry them to a title. Two gimpy players, they’ll fall short.

So everyone’s crapping on Embiid and PG. Here’s the thing it’s a long season so if you have Embiid getting low 20 points per game George at 16 to 18 do you have a really balanced team that you can’t double anyone. Then the Sixers come with two fantastic guards off the bench, a nightmare for any team.
