Haliburton’s court vision is insane! 🔥 Leading the Pacers to the #4 seed while dropping those stats is seriously impressive. 🏀

His assist to turnover ratio is insane. Efficiency + production is how you distinguish great players from each other.

He peaked during the first half of last season where it looked like he was becoming one of the league’s best guards. Since then he’s been a good/very good point guard. Borderline All-Star. Nothing special.

      April 17, 2025 at 5:12 pm

You have no idea what you’re talking about my guy, watch the pacers these upcoming playoffs, you’ll see he’s an all-nba guard. Definitely more than borderline all-star.

    • @mosin9349

      April 18, 2025 at 11:25 am

The exact timeline you described is when he sustained a pretty bad hamstring strain, which is a notoriously nagging injury long term. He rushed himself back during the regular season last season in order to play enough games for all nba consideration, and meet certain contract requirements for doing so. He came back at least a month too early, and this showed in his play. He was maybe 65-70% healthy during the playoffs last year, and as you indicated wasn’t the same player as he was at the beginning of the season. He was on the Olympic squad and appeared in 2 games before being sidelined the rest of the Olympics due to his hamstring. A few weeks after the Olympics concluded the Pacers began training camp. And to begin the 2024-2025 season he was still struggling, playing similarly to how he did in the playoffs the previous year. Only since the all-star break in 2025 did he begin getting back to his old self, and has been a high efficiency 20/11 player. Moral of the story is hamstring injuries are no joke, and need to be allowed time to heal. Halliburton made it very difficult on himself to recover by playing when he shouldn’t have.

I think the best part of hali is the joy he plays with. Just an awesome dude. Maybe not the best start to the season but finished off with a bang

He always played with that same joy for the game at Iowa State (my hometown and alma mater). He was a joy to watch at Hilton Coliseum, that I can tell you. Pure Legend.

      April 18, 2025 at 3:24 am

everybody loved him a year ago 😂 but he made a deep playoff run, ruining some teams dreams, and then followed it with a bad start to the season, made it easy for bucks & knicks fans to push they agendas

Yep. If you heard someone in the NBA dropped 15 assist and 0 TO, tell me you don’t immediately think of Haliburton. If he is on the floor and HEALTHY, your team has a top 5 NBA offense automatically. Simple as that

NBA making this video shows you how much the NBA disapproves of Trae Young. Tyrese Haliburton didn’t get ready for the season and had a terrible first few months. He was out of conditioning and partying too much.
Yet Trae a family man has been an assists leader the DAY he got into the league. He also was fined $100,000 for sitting a game for his child’s birth.
    You heard that right!
Adam Silver fined Trae Young $100,000 for attending the birth of his child.

Hali getting a solo edit while Trae, who led the league in assists by a mile, didn’t even crack Top 50 assists this season just because he toyed with one of the refs’ feelings last game. Lol nba protecting their soft ass refs as usual
