For rings to be involved I’m sorry it’s a horrible way to run this event. It’s not best two teams its more like two teams that had the easiest match ups. 4 games in a 30 team league. They could have done an extra week and did a tournament style to determine a true champion if they wanted to include rings for the champ. Even after the 4 games below bottom 6 they do best versus worst and then top 6 it’s 1 vs 2, 3 vs 4, 5 vs 6. It just doesn’t make much sense. I mean I get it they don’t want to burn out the kids before a long nba season but there’s gotta be a better way to determine the top two teams for a championship game than that. And what’s worse is the schedule of it why is the championship game the first game of the day? Shouldn’t it be the main event?

@Mason Tronsor it’s so the rookies actually get a couple games in. In a tournament format the top draft picks could get sent home early and you don’t get to see the new talent. It’s more about seeing the young dudes play more then the “title”

I hope the Knicks are starting to understand the disadvantage they are putting their teams at with these tiny guards and one dimensional bigs. They’re in for a rough year if their centers don’t start developing offensively (3-pointers) and start aggressively defending and shot blocking.
