How many three point shots get blocked?? Just jump straight up and contest, you won’t block it why jump forward

Harden, 16 free throws and 16 3pts per game. A good reason to not watch him playing. The NBA is ruined with all this baby’s trying to get calls and just shoot 3s. I’m not watching NBA anymore.

T Mac is stupid. The players should try at least a little bit to not tangle up their feet and get under the other dude. But if the offensive player is being extra with his jumper then they should call offensive foul as well.

If I establish legal guarding position and stand straight up and the offensive player hits me.
    What is the call?

This close out mess is so annoying. Yes injuries happen close outs don’t usually cause them but players are baiting the defense to jump into their space and then get these fouls…. you may as well not even jump on defense at this point Because you won’t be able to jump towards them which means you won’t ever get a good contest or block unless your skin right on them, but you can’t do that either it’s a foul or they just run past you. It’s just dumb.

James harden is nothing but a scam artist/ street rat hussler type of guy. Would rather look for ways to cheat and scam the system rather than work on actual skill/ footwork to outplay someone. That’s not a respectable human being. He doesn’t deserve a fanbase. If u like him, U like the lowlife street hustler type of scumbag dudes.

Oh yes, it is an anomally where Harden takes advantage and the referee seemed to always fall for. Sometimes he is still up in the air the whistle sounds! Sometimes you can really see the delayed reaction of the fall, it is hilarious!

@Richard Jefferson @The Jump – I would love to hear your opinion on this … with all the discussion about the physical toll of an 82 game season, isn’t load management creating an unfair competitive advantage? For athletes playing at the highest level, can only playing 75% of the season can be a game changer come playoff time?

I completely understand both sides tho. You gotta give room to the shooter to land and know how to try to block it without taking their landing spot. With Zaza, he’s a complete asshole. Look how different these fouls are compared to Zaza. With these recents fouls, they jumped to block or atleast attempted to make them miss but with Zaza, he didn’t even jump and just put his hands up to just make the shooter miss which is not necessary to walk forward so clearly he did it intentional compare to these recent fouls.

Why doesn’t anyone point out that TMac is discussing something different. None of those guys are going foreward on the shot. He is wrong here, cant believe that.

What gets me is that they always want to compare someone to MJ but no player since has come close to the physical beatings MJ took. When you look at it MJ was putting up numbers that guys put up nowadays when it’s way easier.

And that is why I don’t waste 3 hours watching a basketball game. I just look a the 10 minutes highlights the next day.

No jumping on three point attempts. Problem solved

They both have valid points. It’s hard to defend a shot that is text-book rule on using your lower body to get buckets from that distance.
The only way I can think of defending shots like those is probably double teaming. But its going to take a lot innovative positioning and play routes, or just increasing everyones vertical.

How about you move the 3 point line back and force some variety in the game. I’m sick of the 3 point shootout.

We have watched men play basketball ball. Now NBA has evolved for kids to play basketball. Soon in the future, we will see kids go back to mom and dad crying about foul calls.

i think it makes sense though, because you dont want someone to break their ankle from landing on the defenders foot or spraining it badly enough to cost you games
