Man, was thinking the same thing even forgot he was dat quick. I don’t kno y everybody b saying he in his prime, it don’t look like it to me, Don’t know why Dallas was so mad 😢

Imagine you’re an NBA player. At the beginning, you push yourself to the limit to prove yourself. But as you gain experience, you start understanding and seeing the game better. Even if you slow down a bit, your improved game intelligence still prevents opponents from outplaying you. So why exhaust yourself if you can progress as a smarter player while conserving energy?
P.S. Just look at Joker. Is he fast? Hell no! But he’s a 3-time MVP of the league. His advantage lies in his deep understanding of the game, finding the most efficient moves, using his teammates effectively, and, of course, his shooting.

@@berkut87 It’s okay to say Luka was quicker and in better shape; it has nothing to do with choosing to exhaust himself. Yes, Luka’s IQ has improved, but his fitness has declined as of late. Jokic and Luka have different physiques and playstyles.

@thomascrowniii1693 so does everyone else in the NBA lol

    • @thomascrowniii1693

      April 1, 2025 at 4:23 am

@Storme-1  everyone else in the NBA doesn’t have a highlight reel on YouTube where you can see them carrying the ball on every gather before they crossover.

    • @pLaishram

      April 1, 2025 at 7:14 am

It’s only a carry when u put your hands underneath the ball. almost every dribble he takes is legit

    • @Storme-1

      April 1, 2025 at 11:09 am

@@thomascrowniii1693 quick search will show you plenty of players with crossover highlights, including Kyrie, Ja, Poole, etc, all who carry regularly

    • @thomascrowniii1693

      April 1, 2025 at 11:42 am

      @pLaishram
      No, it’s not.
The National Basketball Association Rule No. 10 (Section II (d)) states, “A player who is dribbling may not put any part of his hand under the ball and (1) carry it from one point to another or (2) bring it to a pause and then continue to dribble again.”

Every time Luka gathers to crossover he breaks rule #2 because he discontinues his dribble. It’s not a hesi.

    Luka like James Harden

    • @djkido316

Harden playoffs averages : 19ppg on 45% shooting
Luka playoffs averages : 31.8ppg on 55% shooting (Second best in NBA history)

      Nice try tho.
