Ever since they put Patrick Beverley on their starting PG and moved D Russell to SG. Won 4 straight games.

Beverly is their PG on paper but Russell is the primary ballhandler running the offense still. What really changed was the overall team defense with Beverly. Beverly and Russell are locking down guards. Yes, I said “and Russell”.

@Sparky Pluggs i mean yeah but dlo is not covering the best guard out there its either okogie or bev and then edwards covers the 2nd best its nice that we don’t need him to cover good players but he’s playing good I admit

@polarsz Actually Russell is defending top guards at a high rate. Edwards is playing SF. No way Russell can defend a SF throughout a game. I know it’s hard to believe but Russell’s on ball defense and hustle has really improved so far at least, he’s a plus defender. Let’s see if he keeps it up. Right now he has the highest net rating on the team. The team drops off significantly when he’s off the floor more than anyone else. I can’t believe it myself

The impact Anthony Edwards has made for this team is incredible! I know he’s not alone but the Timberwolves vibe is completely different with each outing with the potential to win.

I think the Pels will be ok once they get fully healthy. I like the squad they have, even though they haven’t proven much.

They still have a ton of work to do though, way too many turn overs, way too many second and third chance opportunities, and not very consistent from 3. If you can’t get these under control it will be hard to win in the league.

Give Min. thier props though, they’re playing good team ball right now.

The 2nd coming of MJ, Ant
The 2nd coming of Moss, JJ

One of the youngest teams in the nba. Switching pat to the 1 and dlo to the 2 was a great natural feeling move. best 3 point percent and most 3s shot per game. Goddamn

Well he is not getting enough minutes to play for the team. Look at his g league stats, he can definitely ball

The kid gets to come off the bench ice cold when there’s 4 minutes left in the game? What do you expect?

This team once had lonzo, ingram, jrue and zion on one team and they were selling out home games all the time now its a ghost town because they let david griffin organically try to build his trash team of walker, hayes and lewis. All three trash first round picks he is trying to force down the throat of pelican fans. We had stars in jrue and lonzo here and now we have a dumpster fire

      November 23, 2021 at 3:15 am

They were still losing with all the names you called. Gotta keep Williamson off the buffet table

      November 23, 2021 at 1:03 pm

@Sparky Pluggs they were on the right path, lonzo shot was not there like it is now. Ingram did not improve the way he did. And we all know how good jrue is. You cant expect much having a team together for one year. I agree about zion, not sure what to say. Barkley gained weight before the draft so philly wouldnt take him. Zion is a head scratcher and i love his game but anybody can see fatness, you cant hide a eating disorder. His parents are doing him a disservice by not getting on him bc it seems he only listens to his family for advice

Ingram has been a disappointment, I’ve seen enough he’s not a superstar. Probably never make an AS selection

      November 23, 2021 at 8:28 pm

@tubenachos im talking about all four of these guys are legit starters. None of them have to be all nba players. It would be alot better to watch them play together than the juno thrown together today. Ingram is still the best healthy pelicans player eventhough you think he sucks on this team

Like I said last time every time DLO plays to his full All-Star potential the Wolves will definitely make the playoffs this team is looking scary in Sync right now deff can make a far drive in the West conference playoffs

Bev is the core of our defense, sets the pace. Always active, annoying and playing passing lanes. Gotta keep it up. Good defense wins championships

The question is can you play like this against teams like Phoenix, Golden State and Denver. Next game against Miami will be a good measuring stick.

This suppose to be Lonzo at pg and Dlo at the 2..never got a chance to see it happen. Happy Dlo is still getting recognition in Minny
