The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves, 137-121. LeBron James led the way for the Lakers with 25 PTS, 12 REB and 12 AST, his 5th triple-double of the season and 99th of his career. Additionally for the Lakers, Montrezl Harrell added 25 PTS and 6 AST in the victory, while Karl-Anthony Towns (29 PTS, 6 REB, 7 AST) and Anthony Edwards (29 PTS) combined for 58 PTS for the Timberwolves in the losing effort. The Lakers improve to 27-13 on the season, while the Timberwolves fall to 9-31.

    As much as I don’t want to say it, Gasol really was holding them back. Jones’s athleticism on defense and sometimes on offense has really changed this team’s performance level and significantly so.
