NY isn’t beating the Bucks or Celtics. Their starters played 40+ minutes each last night. They will either be ready for a marathon and can play that much in the playoffs or they’re going to wear down and be tired and will lose. I’m guessing they’ll wear down.

    SGA > Brunson

  17. @joel-s4w8x

    January 4, 2025 at 6:53 am

OKC is still not close to being at 100% strength. Chet is their 2nd best player by a long shot and they’ve now won 14 in a row without him and have the second best record in the NBA. If OKC is healthy throughout the playoffs I don’t see anybody beating them this season. That being said I am not understanding how Wiggins hasn’t been getting more run. He’s by far the 5th best player on OKC and he’s only getting 20 minutes. Maybe this game will make Daignault see what he has.

    • @brooklynfoster4862

      January 4, 2025 at 8:20 am

It’s a strategy where OKC uses high level defenders with the starting lineup – they wear the other team down by Q4. If Wiggins played better defense and more minutes his shooting would drop. It’s better to let the defenders do their thing while keeping the legs fresh on Wiggins during moments like last night. Not much different with Joe.

      January 4, 2025 at 10:18 am

Coach Daigneault has so many great players he can give the run to whoever is hot or whoever matches up best with the other team. J-Will didn’t get much time tonight because it just didn’t fit for him to be in that much. This team is a Swiss Army Knife. It can do whatever you need in any given situation.

KAT puts no pressure on the guards. He had Wigs or JW on him the whole fourth and never hit the post or worked the pnr

  20. @SupaTrash

    January 4, 2025 at 7:38 am

Brunson has to rely on that bull shit jump into the defense get the call go to free throw line. If he don’t get it he’s avg at best. Don’t understand why everyone thinks he’s elite. He’s a gutter poor version of harden from years ago. Knicks ain’t winning nothing with him and that fraud I want a foul every time “big” kat. Those 2 are frauds, other 3 starters are good players.
