What was this? Duarte had better looking highlights than that, and where was Banton’s halfcourt shot

Wow, you really did a poor job choosing Mobley’s highlights.

He had some great moves that you skipped over.

He also had arguably the best debut so far of any rookie, and you showed more Jalen Green, who didnt do much his first game

He did not have a better debut than Duarte but he was good.

@Chris Lawson oh yes he absolutely did, and it’s not even close.

Duarte looked good, dont get me wrong. He was poised and smooth. But hitting some 3s is NOT the same.

What we just witnessed from Evan Mobley was special. We just watched a 7 foot rookie in his first NBA game ever be one of the best facilitators, and THE BEST defender on the floor between BOTH teams.

      That’s unbelievable.

AND he did it while also landing 17 points and 9 rebounds.

This young man was supposed to take 2 or 3 years to even look NBA ready. He was never supposed to come out this good. But hes already one of the best and smartest players on the floor.

Dont you dare try to tell me that getting hot from 3 for a half a game was the better performance. Dont you dare.

Duarte had the best start of any of the rookies, by a lot too. He’s gonna be a very good player, possible ROTY contender.

You put normal layups in here but not Josh Primo coming onto the floor to a standing ovation and then nailing a deep three. If I didn’t know any better I might think the NBA doesn’t want the Spurs to get much coverage.

i wanted the cavs to trade back into the draft for Duarte…I would have got rid of Sexton for him. He fits better with Garland and is an actual 2….not a 6’1, ball dominant offense initiator trying to play the 2.

Duarte reminds me of a poor man’s Brandon Roy, but with more range.

why tf didnt they have more mobley? Mobley had a special and-1 with his left. he caught in traffic, went up with contact, met a body in mid-air with his left fully extended, hung in the air and put it in off glass with a soft touch. It was the most Tim Duncan-looking thing since Tim Duncan. It showcased elite touch, length, coordination and skill.
