These Grizzlies remind me of the Durant-Westbrook-Harden Thunder – Brian Windhorst | The Jump

Rachel Nichols, Brian Windhorst and Kendrick Perkins discuss the young Memphis Grizzlies, who behind Ja Morant, Jaren Jackson Jr., Brandon Clarke and Dillon Brooks remind Windhorst of the Kevin Durant/Russell Westbrook/James Harden Oklahoma City Thunder of the late 2000s.

If we (the Lakers) get Memphis in the 1st round of playoffs we will 100 percent sweep themπŸ’―πŸ’― I promise it will be a cake walk πŸ˜‚ thanks but no thanks Perk

    Let’s be real people!

I love what the Grizzlies have assembled. They have put together a nice formidable collection of young talent that will only get better over time.

With that being said, by no means Memphis can upset the Lakers in the 1st round. Their size on the interior and one Lebron James will wear them down in the long run.

But, watching Ja Morant do his thing is a thing of beauty! He’s a box-office talent who will only get better!

I give the Grizzlies two more years before they really ascend to greater heights.

The real question is: If the Grizzlies somehow win the title, are they going to give Iggy a ring?

Not even close to being what the OKC trio is. Morant is like Westbrook, I’ll give you that. But Jackson Jr is nothing like Durant.

More like a young Chicago with DRose, Ben Gordon, luol deng and a better version of Noah in JJJ

If there weren’t so many injuries the grizzlies would not be in the 8th seed

Ja Morant will be one of the best point guards in the league, JJJ will be the best defensive player in the league and an absolute sharpshooter, and Dillon Brooks will be a nice 3rd option.

In the long run the pelicans if they develop properly will dominate.

Proceed to lose to the Kings. The Blazers are gonna catch them although I hope they don’t.

They right on the money with this analysis… Go Grizz… they need to hire Tony Allen as a Defensive consultant for the team
