Pascal Siakam led the way for the Pacers with 19 points on 7-15 from the field (1-2 from 3) to go along with 10 rebounds and 3 assists. For the Thunder, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had a team-high 38 points on 14-30 from the field (3-6 from 3). The Pacers lead the series 1-0.

The Indiana Pacers mounted an incredible comeback in the 4th quarter, at one point down 15 points, they managed to rally back and in the end it was Tyrese Haliburton who once again put the team ahead late! This is the FIFTH time this postseason that the Pacers have rallied from a 15+ point deficit, which is the MOST by any team in the playoffs since 1998! They also have become just the third team in NBA Playoffs history to rally from a 15 point deficit in the 4th quarter, joining the 2011 Dallas Mavericks and the 1992 Chicago Bulls. Haliburton’s shot to put the team ahead with 0.3 seconds remaining put Tyrese in the history books, as that marks the FIFTH time this playoff run where he has made a go-ahead, game-winning or game-tying shot within the last 30 seconds of the 4th quarter or in overtime, the most of ANY player in NBA Playoff history! The record was formerly held by Ray Allen in his 2009 run, with four made shots of that variety.

OKC lost game 1 vs Denver in almost exactly the same manner yet still won the series so this game doesn’t change anything really. Daignault made a really stupid coaching move not starting Hartenstein and giving Wallace 33 minutes. I’m completely baffled by this. For some reason he is infatuated with Wallace when Wiggins clearly is a superior player and he should be getting way more time. Not understanding what’s going on there. Anyway there’s no way Indy is going to keep shooting 46% on threes. Fluke loss.

The secret to how the Pacers play is that they will let the other team score to keep them running up and down the court all game an then when the other team are dead men walking they keep the same pace they had all game. Thats why they seem to always win in 4th/OT. 😂. As an OKC fan our team isn’t winning unless we keep our pace up as well.

Pacers force other team to score or shoot moreso, shai’s 30-35 isn’t as impactful when you’re scoring 220-250 combined points a game. Death by a thousand arrows wonder what daigneault will do with his Bigs. cason a piece but he aint the answer big dog. need to focus on getting jwill and Chet or ihart going together, pick and read and handoffs early for them. shai is gonna do him regardless
