The Suns — yes, the Suns! — are rising out of the NBA’s early chaos – Rachel Nichols | The Jump

Published

on

In her daily monologue, Rachel Nichols recaps the Phoenix Suns’ big win vs. the Philadelphia 76ers behind 40 points from Devin Booker. The victory moved Monty Williams’ team to 5-2 thanks to the contributions of Ricky Rubio and Aron Baynes, and despite the absence of Deandre Ayton because of suspension.

Have ya’ll ever wondered what a Kobe- LeBron playoff match up would be like? Wait for Luka and Devin. I’m calling it rn. (provided the Suns won’t trade Booker)

Phoenix turned into ashes after Nash era. Now seems Phoenix has come back to life.
    Just the consistency concern.

When Rubio left Minnesota because “he couldn’t shoot the ball” (he is an average shooter, not worst than many others) they brought Jeff Teague (what a joke) and the result was that the Wolves missed Rubio from the very first moment. In Utah everyone was blaming him for his lack of shooting and they change him for Conley (amazing point guard) who is having worst numbers than Rubio and is not making a better Utah so far. Rubio was the second best player of Utah during play offs for 2 years in a row. Not Gobert, not Ingles. And now Rubio is proving when he plays, his team plays. He sets the defence mood, he sets the right plays, he never complains or lost composure, he sacrifice to make others shine. He is a “rara avis” on the league and that’s why people don’t give credit to him but he has multiple world championships (and MVP of the last one), multiple Olympic medals, multiple European Chamionships… he knows what it takes to win and he is only 28 years old. But yeh…. he is not a selfish Westbrick or Paul so …. Suns you did the right movement.

I’m glad Phoenix is winning right now. I hope they keep winning. My Hornets are also surprising teams right now. We’re 4-3 with no Kemba.

Ya!? like many people are in denial of the authority of Jesus Christ as a result numerous Americans are living chaotically with no true respect for the grace and God’s plan of salvation. Truly people need to rise up and be rebels for Jesus Christ against the devil and surprise people on how much they really love the Lord.

I wonder how much the Suns paid the other teams?

Booker was right. No double teaming on pick ups. Just improve your game.

booker for a possible notice for All-Star this year. Devin is really a great player since then but he is hardly being noticed because of his team’s performance but now, i hope he gets an All-Star in his name finally! thanks to rubio. admit it or not Rubio is a great play maker. He deserves a credit together with Baynes

Hopefully they can sustain this when DA comes back cuz he’s got a 25 game late start. That could prove to be problematic especially since everyone else is already so in sync. He’ll still need to get familiar with everything. .

Book playing defense now cause he know they can actually make the playoffs this year so he’s motivated.

Not even surprised James Jones has been turning around the Suns organization, implementing that Heat culture anywhere seems to produce results.

Now wouldn’t that be something if the Suns made the playoffs and the Warriors missed it??? Interesting how much can go good and bad all within a new NBA year.
