C’mon Chuck, Just say it. Dallas has no chance against Paul and Booker. Luka is a ball hog and Phoenix is letting him take all the shots he wants and they’re shutting everyone else down. Meanwhile, Dallas has no answer for the dynamic duo. Jalen Brunson has run into a real defender unlike Utah. Dinwittie is Done-wittie. ANY one of the Suns players can catch fire off the bench too whether it’s McGee, Johnson, Biyambo, Crowder, Bridges, Payne, or Shamet. The only answer they had for Ayton was to get him into early foul trouble. Then they sit back and let Luka turn the ball over 7 times in game 2.

Now you see how lights out this team can be. Imagine if Booker was healthy for New Orleans. Suns would have taken the sweep there. Don’t get me wrong. Ingram is a stellar player, McCollum is a stellar player. Their bench is ok. Just missing a couple players from being in the Suns level of play.

I have honestly never seen a superstar look more shook than Luka did when they started hunting him in the 2nd half, this coming from a Luka fan hurts me to say it, that game and the next one are going to be a pivotal moment on how his career is going to ultimately be looked at. Also chuck is 100% right, heliocentric teams do not win in the playoffs and Luka is no MJ but even MJ had help, the mavs coaching staff or luka need to find a way to commit luka into operating in team ball through off ball playmaking and not freeze out his team mates dribbling out the clock to get a highlight reel post up or step back.

Luka needs to hit the gym this off-season; his conditioning is a problem. If he finds success in the future, this season will be long forgotten. Luka will either be one of the greatest players of all time, or another James Harden.
