If you watched actual games instead of highlights you’d see that the Celtics kept forcing the switch with garland having to switch onto bigger ball handlers all night
There’s nothing you can do about it besides do what garland did, toughen up and work ur ass off on DEFENSE

@@JamesGraham-o8ptowards the end okoro would come quick and force a switch but would be tough with Derrick white out there to get away with that. We need to be stronger on screens, get through them tougher and not allow that to happen. It drove me crazy

Both great players but honestly I’m so impressed with Mitchell. Tatum is repeatedly forced to push his smaller defender, in order to free himself and score. Mitchell against Holiday(one of the best defenders) is pure ball handling.

To be fair to Tatum the smaller defenders are always grabbing/ hand checking him before he pushes off. Heโs pretty quick for his height and has a good handle that gets by players if they donโt

He’s one of the best but in this video, I repeat that I’ll acknowledge Mitchell.
Plus, he’s not overpromoted by the media, he doesn’t play with all stars starters that worth 20mil/yr and he doesn’t play for one of the most successful and valuable franchises in NBA history.

Terrific night for both players, but Mitchell outshined Tatum in the end. It’s pretty ironic that Mitchell plays bigger than his size often compared to Tatum.
