Go watch his lowlights: missing the easiest shots, taking plays off, taking plays off to cry at the refs, no defence, no hustle. Seriously actually watch this season’s lowlights of him not looking great. Just going by highlights isn’t giving you a picture of his season.
He is great, Im not looking to cut his down.
Context though…..
The overhype is real and the deception is wild…. His teammates let him have every rebound and shot they possibly can, padding up his stats. Then the league and media tell you about his stats….people just lap it up, people love being in love with LeBron, they love to feel like they are a part of the historical narrative of his career. That love sways their ability to see the manipulation that artificially enhances LeBron.

most players at their 40s would only be a role player, if not a bench warmer who is only on the team as a leader, but LeBron is still one of the league’s top 10 players and playing at a high level.
