The magnets would have to be extremely strong to pull the ball towards the basket. Which means the ball would get stuck in the hoop. Do you even know what you’re talking about?

@Rover Johnson it’s literally entertainment where spectators are in a daze for 180 minutes…and where Vegas has a heavy hand in outcomes

To all those magnet theorists: if you went out and played ball, you’d have seen this shit happen at least once in your life. The NBA has dozens of games played nearly every day for 7 months each year. It’s bound to happen.

There’s not magnets in the balls/rims they say… NBA=WWE… Steph changed the game by investing in this tech… that’s how he “changed the game” … also why the NBA will always remain a private entertainment company and can entertain however they see fit. Weird how every team is scoring in the 120-130s on any given night.

As the great Charles Barkley would say “there’s some real god damn fools out here” if you think there’s magnets you’ve never played basketball for any meaningful amount of time cuz this shit happens, it’s physically possible, if the rim is magnetic why doesn’t the ball fall in the same few ways? The variety of bounces the basketball makes per game is evidence enough there no magnets or else most layups would look awkward flying into the rim instead of falling into it
