The 76ers are Ben Simmons’ team – Scottie Pippen | The Jump

Published

on

Rachel Nichols, Jackie MacMullan and Scottie Pippen react to Ben Simmons calling the Philadelphia 76ers “soft” after a blowout loss vs. the Miami Heat, which furthered the Sixers’ struggles on the road, showed that Joel Embiid might not be 100 percent, featured former Sixer Jimmy Butler, and might mean the team has to make a move before the 2020 NBA trade deadline.

These two bring so much wisdom to the show. Hope they stay on the rest of the year through the championship.

Butler goes to Minesotta and they make the playoffs. After him they pretty much have a colapse. Butler goes to Philly and Philly has the best season after ” trust the process era ” . Butler leaves and they are having a so-so regular season, actually dissaponiting at many points of the season. Butler goes to Miami and Miami becomes one of the best surpises of the entire season and with just 1 more pieace could make it to the finals. There is a pattern here….

Funny how national pundits will make generalized comments but have not watched the sixers. Fact: they did not score more points when embiid was out. Matter of fact they were near the same to less. 2nd Fact: defensively they are never better without Embiid or brett wouldnt have been trying to see if Novelle could provide some rim protection. Only thing different is style of play. Posting vs running fast shooting 3s

Trade Embiid to Utah for Bogdanovic, Ingles and Conley to surround Simmons with a bunch of shooters. Win-win for the 2 teams as Embiid will play better with Mitchell.

People keep saying this team is better around Ben Simmons. They were ranked 28th in Offense around the league with Embiid out and it was Ben running the team. Both players are needed with shooters surrounding them not slashers.

Should trade Harris and Horford for a whole lot of depth, Horford can go to the Knicks for Marcus Morris, Reggie Bullock and Dennis Smith Jr. Harris can be traded back to the Pistons for Derrick Rose, Luke Kennard, Tony Snell and a couple of second round picks.

The Sixers are overrating Embiid, being a loud mouth and having personality doesn’t automatically make you a good leader, Embiid’s a clown, he doesn’t have the maturity and intelligence to be a real leader that carry a team mentally on and off the court.

People freaking out bc the Sixers lost 3 in a row. They beat the Lakers, whooped the Bucks and are 3-1 against the Celtics. They’re shitty on the road, but to act like this season isn’t salvageable is ridiculous

This has nothing to do with Jimmy Butler being gone. This has to do with JJ Reddick being gone. Period!!!
