‘Take over the game!’: Tracy McGrady frustrated by James Harden’s play in Game 5 | The Jump

Published

on

Patrick Beverley joins Rachel Nichols and Tracy McGrady to discuss what James Harden needs to do in Game 6 of Golden State Warriors vs. Houston Rockets in the 2019 NBA playoffs, with T-Mac frustrated by Harden’s passive play late in Game 5. They then (3:25) break down Denver Nuggets vs. Portland Trail Blazers — in which Damian Lillard led his team to a Game 6 win — and make their Game 7 predictions.

TMac looks like he’s taking better care of himself. I wonder if his knees will ever be good enough to see him in the Big3.

“I’m dribbling as much as I can – but they only give me 24 seconds.” – James Harden

TMac was exactly the same, he choked HARD. The narrative is he had help but if you really look at his career youll see he choked.

This was a legacy game and Harden didn’t deliver. Now he’ll just be another great without a ring, which is cool I guess.

Rockets fan here: T-Mac we literally asked you to do the same thing in the playoffs and you never could. You went multiple games in the playoffs against the Utah Jazz when you didn’t score or only had 1 point in the 4th quarter. Shut the fuck up.

There is something likeable about Patrick Beverly. He plays hard, seems down to earth, and not too arrogant considering what a good player he is. Also knows when to talk and when to listen.
