The Suns play their hearts out, go undefeated and can’t make the playoffs but the Lakers can blow game after game in the bubble and still retain their number one seed. Life ain’t fair.

Portland played an extra game this season that Phoenix and Memphis didn’t get to play. Teams like the Suns and Grizzlies should have played an extra game in the bubble. That’s the only cheesy shit about all of this. Why not make every team finish with the same amount of games played?

Other than that, I don’t mind not making the play-in. Proud of such a young team showing up big in what was essentially a playoff situation. And gaining some respect from the rest of the world, showing everyone that this isn’t the laughing stock Suns anymore full of G-league players. This team is good, and has so much potential. They were just young af and injured all season this year. Hope we can stay healthy next year, build on what they’ve done in this bubble, and shock the world and become a consistent winning franchise again.

Its nice to see Suns shining, but its horrible to know how powerful they re and even though they did a mediocre campaign in the regular season 🙁 Booker deserves better support

Wow, I really disappointed on what happened to Suns. For me they actually deserve a playoff spot but they were eliminated through point system. They have identical record with Grizzlies and even a better record against Magic and perfect record through the Bubble yet they end up the series that way. Haizt! See you next season.

I really really really wished that the Phoenix Suns 🌞 made the playoffs I’m kinduv salty boud dat & they ain’t even my team. Only reason why I’m saying this is because they been grinding the whole bubble 8-0 there all very very young there not even in there primes and they remind me of the warriors now correct me if I’m wrong but they have all the pieces they need Cam Johnson , Ricky Rubio , DeAndre Ayton he’s a modern day Patrick Ewing , Devin Booker He’s a Modern day Kobe Bryant he has that mentality just like Kobe Bryant he’s trusted to take that last shot Kelly Oubre & he ain’t even playing yet and that’s just to show you that Oubre is a special weapon Averaging 19 PPG he reminds me of Pippin but more aggressive. If anybody has anything to say I’m down to listen I’m just saying that’s all iMight be wrong or y’all may see it way differently than me. What do y’all think? Let’s talk about it please.

How does the grizzlies get the play in game when the suns have the same record. It should be the suns play the grizzlies then the winner of that game goes against Portland

If they didn’t make the playoffs they probably didn’t deserve it. No matter how great a run that was they didn’t play well in the regular season. Just because you aced the last 20% of a test doesn’t matter if you did poorly the previous 80%. Tough luck but I hope this translate well into next season which is looking really good.

I thought there will be also a play in tourney between 9th and 10th f they tied … F only the bucks won against the grizzlies, there would not b a problem who’s going to the 8th seed between portland and suns

Suns should be given a play in game against the Magic. It’s unfair for the East to have an easier path just because they’re top heavy with only 6 quality teams, while the West is competitive almost throughout. Should have been a no conference 1-16 seeding given the irregularly of this season and circumstances.

What was the point of inviting them if being the only undefeated team = missing playoffs??

This bubble was some of the most fun basketball I’ve ever seen as a suns fan. Going 8-0 when a lot of people didn’t even see us winning a game is a victory in itself. I can’t wait for next season. Go Suns.

  37. HeavenFoundWithin

The only reason the suns didnt make it was because Portland played ONE EXTRA GAME then they did before the bubble and had that 1 extra conference game — its not fair for teams to have not played the same amount of conference games / overall games before the bubble because that negates the entire point of overall record and conference record signifying who makes the playoffs in the first place.

  38. HeavenFoundWithin

    August 15, 2020 at 5:30 am

Why is nobody saying how unfair it was for the Suns to have played 1 less game than portland and 1 less conference game? The team that played more games coming in the bubble had a higher winning percentage despite the win/loss column. The bubble was flawed in that the Suns played less games than Portland and would have won that 1 extra conference game if given the chance. The bubble should have first evened the playing field by having teams who did not play the same number of conference games / overall games — then once they were all even in terms of conference games/overall games, then the bubble should have began with 8 games. There should have been a few extra games to allow the teams that did not get a chance to play the same number of games to enter the bubble.

  39. HeavenFoundWithin

    August 15, 2020 at 5:31 am

The Spurs had the same number of losses as the #7 and 8 teams except they played a lot less games including less conference games so how is that fair? They even had a better winning percentage in conference games but because they played less overall games they didnt have a chance to make up the overall…. really unfair of the NBA to not allow the teams in the bubble that played less games to play a few games to catch up.

Suns went 8-0 in the bubble but was just put into waste. What’s the point of inviting the team in the bubble if they didn’t have a chance even in the play-in game. NBA should have given the Suns one more game against the Grizzlies for the tiebreaker then whoever wins will be in play-in game against the Blazers. NBA’s bubble format was rigged. 😪😪😪💔
