Even without Wemby the Suns get owned by the Spurs yet again, got beat three times out of four last year, they got their number at this point, like the Wolves although the Wolves ain’t the same caliber of team.

Yet another master stroke by the Spurs organization. Of course, no one could have predicted Wemby to go down for the season, but it only makes the Fox trade that much sweeter. Because of that, it isn’t a “lost” season without Victor, but an opportunity to get the chemistry they will need when he comes back next year. I can tell you one thing: We’ve seen how Victor plays when he is angry, and he will be a man with a mission when he comes back. League take notice.

I think Spurs will be okay offensively but losing probably the best defensive player in the NBA will keep them from having any chance of making a run toward the playoffs. It was a long shot even with Wemby.
