The media has pushed “chips/rings” so much that teams and players has to use every advantage they can get to be able to win one.

Instead of trying, theyd just cruise this weekend and rest for the 2nd half of the grind.

Lol. The allstar is not was it was because today’s NBA players doesn’t have the same competitiveness as Kobe or MJ.

Lately, Stephen A. sounds more like a MAGA member than that SMART, WELL DRESSED host on ESPN we 💗 watching daily. All he needs is the STUPID red cap.

the NHL did things different this year. They did the 4 nations. 4 countries of players competing in an Olympic style tournmnent. They have been playing hard.

No one likes feeling like they have to work and have no voice or any sort of independence. I feel like the league is treating these players like their objects now. Thats my personal opinion, and when you feel like you have no voice you rebel. Thats what I think is taking place. I think Adam Silva and other owners after years back from trades are taking all these players rights. That’s why they get injured half play on purpose etc.

How the hell is the team that gets more news coverage of their losses than the best team in the NBA’s wins, a sleeper?

Stephen A.. that’s actually a pretty good idea. The NBA players promote the slam dunk contest and make it a city thing..

I think they should get rid of the All-Star game and instead play a dodgeball game. That would be fun as hell! Because if you can dodge a wrench you can dodge a ball😂

I think JJ Reddick should have Luca come off the bench. In coming off the bench, JAMES and Luca can alternate running the offense. This will also allow Vincent, Knect and other role players more playing time. The rotation before Luca was amazing and their defense was rated #1 during that period. Imagine having James and Luca in the 4th Q with fresh legs. Let’s face it, both James and Luca need the ball, and by having Luca come off the bench, the Lakers will have the top 2 offense generaters always on the court.

Lakers have to beat Denver either on Feb 22nd, March 14 or March 19th.

Then I’ll believe they are the sleeper team
