Tatum doesn’t play any defense. Holiday and White got minutes because they played defense. The exact reason why Haliburton didn’t get any minutes as well. FIBA really exposes the deficiencies in the development of American basketball players

Tatum didn’t even played too well in the Olympics. Yes I understand he didn’t exactly get all the opportunity to play. But Tatum is a dude who’s good a lot of things but not the best at. At least not in terms of the Olympics team. James was their ball handler and passer, KD is a better scorer. Steph gravity on the court with or without the ball but he can always turn it up at any given point and is the best shooter for crying out loud hence the reason why they won the semi and finals. Book was the best surprise of all who was willing to put his head down and play whatever the role he needed to play. Ant as their 6th man with the duo of defense of AD and Bam who held their lead together. Ultimately everything that Tatum can do as a person his Olympic teams can do better individually and that’s what won them the gold. You’re right they could’ve let him played more in some cases but to be honest his skill set wasn’t needed. YOU NEED TO SACRIFICE IN THE OLYMPICS ANY ALL STAR IS JUST ANOTHER ROLE PLAYER TOO ON TEAM USA TOO! But I understand where the fuel to the fire type of mentality is coming from. And I hope JT and JB can play like they did the first game of this season.

What Kerr and the NBA voters are saying by dissing them is, “Jayson and Jaylen are weak, and they’re not going to do a dam3 thing about it”. And I agree. But if J&J actually do play with a chip on their shoulders, and get their getback like mean dogs, I will be their number one fan.
