I mean that’s what it’s looking like. It can either work or it won’t at all. After seeing them destroy the clippers I’m also kinda rethinking it too I was worried about their defense but they didn’t look bad on defense at all.

    • @hdbuckets8154

      February 5, 2025 at 3:17 pm

That’s cuz none of them tried on defense and now that AD is gone they gotta put in some effort. Last night and the Knick’s game was the hardest I’ve seen em play in a while.

    February 5, 2025 at 2:56 pm

He need to workout with LeBron. If he subscribe to LeBron workout regiment, here come 2 rings for LeBron, no need to go to the warriors for rings. Rings just fell down from heaven

    February 5, 2025 at 3:11 pm

*LeBron James being a side kick is unheard of.*

    • @kreed82

      February 5, 2025 at 3:20 pm

How is LeBron James his sidekick but it was a toss up when it came to AD? Like what does Luka do better than either AD or Bron other than score?

      NBA media are crazy..

    • @timhoward5

      February 5, 2025 at 3:25 pm

      @kreed82Β  YOUTH.

    • @kreed82

      February 5, 2025 at 3:29 pm

@@timhoward5 yeah that only translates to scoring consistently though. Doesn’t play D, as far as rebounds and assists their stats are comparable if not Bron stats being higher in that category.

There is no doubt Giannis and Jokic are better than Bron at this stage. Luka though? Really? Brittle Luka? K

    • @gray_gogy

      February 5, 2025 at 5:10 pm

@@kreed82 Brittle? Luka handles better, attacks better, shoots better, finishes better, gets the defense in rotation better, and arguably passes better (because his attack is more dangerous he has more passing opportunities). Luka is just far better offensively now than Lebron is.

    • @kreed82

      February 5, 2025 at 7:32 pm

@gray_gogyΒ  So if you read what I wrote I stated what does he do better other than scoring?

Citing he finishes or attacks better aren’t examples as you are just describing different ways he essentially scores? πŸ˜‚

You kind of answered my question though. When you take away youth and scoring he’s got nothing.

I dont know how you can say he attacks the rim better when he’s afforded whistles when defenders simply breath on him.

Whereas Bron is a freight train who has to be hacked and maybe the refs will call it depending on the day.

Bron has higher statistics in assist yet in your eyes Luka is superior? What’s this based off your favorite player

Pff… as a Mavs fans since 2005 Im happy of this trade… a chubby, lazy, complaining, freezing the ball, injury prone, 40million contract… pff AD and the 2029 first pick… great trade MFFL

I get what stephen A. meant, because remember the narrative when kyrie was traded to the mavs and they said that the duo of Luka and Kyrie will not work but the mavs made it to the finals and Luka Kyrie duo was very good. Luka will figure it out in the Lakers and Bron will help Luka in the conditioning department.

Great players like playing with great players. Guys who understand the work ethic, attention to detail, and have the instincts for the game. When you don’t have to think for the guy. When the guy sets you up for easy opportunities instead of it always needing to be you. Greats recognize greats.
