Hey NBA players, I’m gonna throw a random number out there:
    2,632.
You may ask, does this number have any significance? Why, yes! While not directly related to basketball, this is the number of consecutive games Cal Ripken Jr played in with the Baltimore Orioles. Through bone bruises, ankle fractures, cuts, scrapes, illness, you name it. Heck, MJ even went out there with the flu and dropped 30+.

We don’t want to hear it, go to work and stop whining. If I don’t go to work, I lose my job, so you have to go to yours. Pathetic.

I wonder how Tyrese Haliburton feels today after everyone on TV came out against him for calling it a “stupid rule.”

🕊🙏😑🏀The whole world is set up to show consequences for doing wrong. All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. We all must be willing to turn from sin and believe and follow Jesus for forgiveness. 1st John 2:17 He who does the will of God abides for eternity. That’s letting Jesus live His life in and through us His children, by knowing and obeying the Word of God !!! ❤️📖nkjv🙏🧎🏻‍♂️🕊🇺🇸🕊

This rule is great. People should do the job as they are paid to do.

Magic Johnson must have really wanted to play more games if he’s speaking out about it on social media. Maybe he just misses all those halftime hot dogs. 🌭😂

What if they made a new type of stats that they look at when choosing awards. Instead of looking at the usual per game stats they look at per 82 games stats (if you miss a game it counts as you had 0 point,0 rebounds…). If thats the case Embiid stats so far would be 26 points 8 rebounds and 4 assists. So if someone misses more than 17 games but averages like 50 points per game his per 82 games stats would still be good enough for awards. So it awards both good play and availability. Anyway if a player injures himself in the first minute of the game they count that game to his stats. So why punish a players stats if he plays and gets injured during the game but not punish him if he doesnt play at all.

Magic was young rich and “loose as a goose” in the years before he got AIDS. It was remored he went to a party where people were “getting it on” in back rooms. It was said he got his AIDS there.

I think the majority of fans think that players having to play 75% of the games to receive accolades is more than fair. These guys literally get paid generational amounts of wealth to play the game they love, it’s totally unfair to fans that work hard and pay good money to go to games for stars to be sitting on the bench for 25% of the season or more.

Just the other night post GS and LAL, Bron said of him and Steph that they stay true to the game. Perhaps he referred to staying ready rather than getting ready.

Fans spend a lot of money either on tickets or NBA season pass tv. Then the players want to take 20% of the games off. The players still get most of their salary but miss out on bonus money. Just shows that no matter how good people have it they will still complain about work.

So players can still take off 17 games. Sery slack job
