Feels like AD’s last prime year was his first year in LA the same way D-Wade’s last prime year was Lebron’s first year in Miami. It’s supposed to be the other way around with AD and LeBron

Watch ADisney get injured again tonight at Phoenix. It’s clockwork. Be the same redundant Laker topics next year because they’re not getting out of this mess. They’re stuck paying Russ and a guy who missed 40% of his games as a Laker.

Everyone seems to have forgotten that when healthy he won a Championship on a roster that was built to win. Could have very well been Finals MVP too

      April 5, 2022 at 3:18 pm

Nah the only reason he got a chip was because he was rested and only played a short season, had Lebron and a bunch of good young players. AD got lucky he got an easy ring and either way he can’t even carry a pelicans team let alone the lakers.

      April 5, 2022 at 3:56 pm

All I’m saying is he averaged 26 and 10 pretty much. That ain’t scrub numbers. He does get hurt, it be freak accident stuff, real injuries. Not petty stuff. I see both sides of it. But be honest, I know they get paid a whole lot of bread to play this game. But to consistently stay healthy as a big, with his frame and skill set is tough. He’s averaged 24 and 10 for the career, and hella tough to guard when healthy/slightly healthy. This season sucks! But that don’t change how great he is.

      April 5, 2022 at 5:06 pm

Sure lets also ignore that a grossly injury prone player got 4 months of rest right before the playoffs. That’s never happened in NBA history.

    • MarvDaMartian 21

      April 5, 2022 at 5:12 pm

Regardless of the circumstances he was healthy. And my take was when healthy he’s a PROBLEM! Deny that?

    • 09lowkey

      April 5, 2022 at 5:17 pm

@MarvDaMartian 21 More like half a problem because like this season, he only played half the games.

Don’t forget Cp3 with a bad and dislocated shoulder while in the playoffs last year and still played on the court to take Phoenix to a finals! Shows you a lot about how AD really is!

  13. John Meraz

    April 5, 2022 at 3:16 pm

Chris paul had an injuried shoulder and couldn’t dribble still played on the court while In the playoffs last year getting the suns to the finals he gave no excuses. Mean while AD crying cause people saying he can’t get healthy, boo hoo AD your soft step up and do your job. AD is nothing but washed and full of excuses!

  14. Jacob Adedoyin

Fan of the man but AD stands for always damaged 😪

  15. Scott Aznavourian

Look injuries happen. But this guy takes it to an art form and now uses it a s a crutch.

  16. deT nibuL

    April 5, 2022 at 3:41 pm

AD has missed about 23% of his regular season games due to injury. The average NBA player misses about 18% of their games through their career. The harsh part is that AD is missing games during his prime instead of late in his career.

      Kyrie never played all 82.

AD needs to lose some LB’s

  18. Ricardo Mas

    April 5, 2022 at 5:12 pm

Lakers need to just cut their losses and trade AD while hes still worth something! As someone who REALLY wanted to see the Lebron AD duo work but truth is its been an epic fail, Lebron numbers have been killing it but AD isn’t even present enough to even be part of the conversation

Anthony “street clothes” Davis! Best injured player of all time!

  20. PCTR

    April 5, 2022 at 5:41 pm

well AD needs to focus on how to stay healthy to at least survive for the next 3 years, because he is still missing lots of games before going to LA

  21. jtrix34

    April 5, 2022 at 5:57 pm

I legitimately think that Davis has that thyroid thing where you get taller real fast but have really bad joint issues.

  22. LB BYRON

    April 5, 2022 at 7:12 pm

I hate you ppl go play basketball at the height over 6ft4 I’m 6ft5 and injuries come to us faster and harder smh

  23. Cedric Whyte

    April 5, 2022 at 7:33 pm

Everybody is built different some people are more fortunate than some most importantly AD is a multimillionaire and most of who criticizing him aren’t, injuries are real and can affect you long term

    Not soft tissue-Soft competitor 💯

As a team the Lakers were below average shooters: 20th in the NBA in 3pointer%, 20th in the NBA in rebounding, 23rd in the NBA in defensive rating and 29th in the NBA in free throw%. Lakers need better shooters, rebounders, and defenders. Lakers have the oldest roster in the history of the NBA. Many of the players (Ariza, Augustin, Bazemore, Ellington, Howard, Melo, LeBron, Westbrook) on the roster are way past their prime and are too slow to play defense and will not improve with age. The Lakers have very few young players that they can develop. Monk is a keeper and will get better. Hopefully AD can improve from 18% 3-point shooting that he had this season.
