@TeRuFyy america clearly isn’t the same country it used to be. national pride and patriotism isn’t a popular belief anymore and the country has become more of a cultural social hub than an actual united country. i feel like this is the reason why it doesn’t matter what nationality the face of the league is as long as it represents the values of what the NBA wants and should be. wemby is someone that clearly loves the game and winning, he should be the face.

@TeRuFyy They’ve been trying to push SGA for some reason all these weird calls he’s been getting for the past couple years he’s been getting pushed as the face of the league but the people have not accepted him being the face of the league people gravitate more towards Wemby, Luka and Ant

Don’t understand how ANYONE can argue or debate for Luka when he scores 40 but gives up 35. Shai, who is bailed out defensively by his whole team every night. Yes both are phenomenal offensively. But Wemby can score just as well but make the highest impact defensively in the league. How is that not an MVP?

SGA is a point of attack defender. He actually has to stay in front of guards. Hardest position to defend. Wemby doesnt GUARD anyone he’s a ghost/help defender and a block poacher. They just stick him on the other team’s worst shooter and let him float around to block shots. Not like hes having to slide his feet and GUARD anyone. So dont try to dismiss SGA like that. SGA is the best player on the best team in basketball and a TOP SCORER every single night. Wemby gotta bring 30 and 12-15rebs a night to win mvp which he can literally do next year because hes that good.

They say that because the media will crucify you if you don’t achieve that outcome. Look at LeBron saying “not 1 not 2”. That is the ultimate goal – a team achievement. He was clear he wanted to win multiple chips for his TEAM. Yet the media still crucified him and think of his time with the Heat as a failure because he couldn’t get to number 3, 4, etc.
