it’s not enough to just look at someone’s percentages, you’ve gotta look at how often they shoot 3’s. Not 100% sure, but I think you’ll find Hachimura shoots efficiency on a low volume which doesn’t necessarily mean he’s s good shooter.
Having said that, I think it’s a good move for the Lakers, and Stephen A is 100% right, Russ has been awesome coming off the bench

I think it is HILARIOUS that Lakers traded for a lesser version of their former pick in Kuzma. While a decent acquisition Rui is more of a marketing move than a needle mover

I think Rui’s best season so far in his relatively young career was when Russ was playing as a Wizard two seasons ago. And he’s reunited with Russ, and now has LeBron who will definitely feed him the ball and make him a better offensively, so the load won’t be on LeBron to score in bunches even when AD misses with some obscure injury again and again..and again.
