As a Spurs fan since 1991, I’m definitely being biased and saying we’re contenders and going to win it all for sure. But realistically on a basketball point of view, we do lack experience so it’ll be a tough battle in the playoffs. Just like how the Thunder won last year, it took like 2-3 years to finally get over that hump. We are way ahead of schedule though so it is exciting to see. I’m just happy to see them contending after the last 8 years.

Yeah bro realistically we won’t get to the finals but you got to ask yourself even though wemby doesn’t have any experience or castle a few players do have playoff experience fox, Olynk, kornet, and Barnes honestly could be enough to help the young guys get through the playoffs honestly plus no team has had a player like Wemby before bro he’s an anomaly so that could help push the spurs to the finals and maybe win it all and honestly that Vegas experience was a little playoff experience even though there was no home court or anything like that it gave playoff vibes for sure so we will see bro I think realistically not just being biased being a spurs fan since 97 they can get to the finals and win it all

A healthy OKC is not beating the Spurs in a 7 game series. What answers do they have to stop Wemby?

Something called playoff experience that spurs team has never been to the playoffs or won a playoff game or series the spurs aren’t going far

    • @Anthony-j9m1o

      February 13, 2026 at 7:22 pm

Wym he can’t ? He played 71 games in his rookie season. He missed half of last season because of a blood clot still led the league in most blocks btw. He played 40 games so far out of 55 games. Acting like he’s Anthony Davis or kawhi.

      February 13, 2026 at 7:32 pm

@CarsonCarpenter-c6xwhat exactly is “playoff experience ” teams play a little harder in playoffs big whoop

    • @CarsonCarpenter-c6x

      February 13, 2026 at 7:36 pm

@darkace9194 I don’t no look at okc in 2024 look at the pistons an rockets last year in the playoffs

OKC will get every team’s best effort. If they don’t pace themselves, they will likely be burnt out at some point during the playoffs. This is why I respect the Warriors dynasty. Between 2015 to 2022 they played 648 regular season games plus another 145 playoff games getting every team’s best. They averaged nearly 100 games per year for 8 straight years.

    They do this every year…

If the refs allow them to mug other teams like they did last year and you can’t touch Shai then they will repeat. If they don’t allow that, to the extend they did last year they will lose

Spurs have no chance 😂 they haven’t even won a series but they gonna go all the way to the finals 😂😂😂. Every team have to take steps the Spurs are no different.

  12. @MambaVenom5

    February 13, 2026 at 4:54 pm

Denver, San Antonio, Houston, and let’s not forget the new look Timberwolves can knock off the Thunder in a 7 game series. All those teams have the depth to go toe to toe with them.

  13. @Gdavis864

    February 13, 2026 at 5:03 pm

Timberwolves won multiple games against them too? Get better at your job ESPN

STEPHEN A SMITH HAS PROBABLY BEEN PLAYING SOLITAIRE RATHER THAN WATCHING THE NBA. STEPHEN A SMITH’S KNOWLEDGE ABOUT NBA BASKETBALL IS DEFICIENT SO HIS WORDS ABOUT THE NBA ARE NOT CREDIBLE OR TRUSTWORTHY

I respect what OKC did in getting all those picks, they sacrificed and i told people OKC would be a super team 5 years ago and nobody believed me, casuals. I DONT respect the Spurs team because yall were distracted by other teams and trades while the NBA was throwing these guys GREAT picks and yall have said NOTHING about hoe they got this bs. If it was the Lakers yall would’ve been FURIOUS as to how the NBA gift wrapped this organization great young talent smfh

  21. @DLo_MD

    February 13, 2026 at 7:26 pm

Dame should NOT be in the 3pt shootout! Sure, there’s the star power. By why not showcase and reward those who have been shooting well, also? Why has Isaiah Joe never been in the contest?? He’s been lights out for the past 4 years already. His 3% this year is better than some of the official contestants. Way to go, NBA!
