If Ben Simmons could just shoot freethrows at a respectable level, don’t have to be Steph at the line, jus shoot somewhere in the 75% range there’s no excuse to be horrible at the line, put in the work in the gym and change your form

Wizards might have struck gold here because even if the sixers move on from this series other teams are gonna end up trying this tactic

      June 1, 2021 at 1:34 pm

I feel like with AD out. The real finals is Bucks/Nets coming up, whoever wins that series will hack a Ben because both of those teams got bodies to throw to foul him. 76ers are seriously flawed bc of Simmons and it will be exposed this postseason

    • Kay Sheye

      June 1, 2021 at 2:09 pm

@KennyGotBandz AD will be back by Game 5 or 6, relax

it’s crazy because even if they lose and wanna trade him It’s no team that can fit Simmons play style only a bad team that they can build around him but philly needs a star guard gonna be hard to get

    • Quinterrence Reynolds

      June 1, 2021 at 2:12 pm

@joseph Henry they are a bad team because they have no defensive identity. The offense is there but with Ben Simmons the elevation would be phenomenal

    • joseph Henry

      June 1, 2021 at 2:17 pm

@Quinterrence Reynolds that’s the op point but you said it’s cap

@Quinterrence Reynolds and philly gonna want lavine 🤣🤣 that’s not gone work

    • Quinterrence Reynolds

      June 1, 2021 at 3:09 pm

@Ligmanuts no they won’t . They’ll take lauri markannen coby white and thaddeus young will do the trick

    • Quinterrence Reynolds

      June 1, 2021 at 3:10 pm

@joseph Henry I’m saying there are plenty of teams that would use Ben Simmons play to boost the overall team . It’s not har d

    June 1, 2021 at 1:31 pm

Ben Simmons clearly doesn’t really care that much, the dude has been in the league to long to show no improvement, you don’t have to be a knockdown shooter but at least have the defense think you have the ability to hit one.

*When guy’s like Wilt, Shaq & Andre Drummond are shooting better from the FT line than your PG, it’s a huge alarming factor🤷🏿‍♂️*

  6. Esther Famurewa

    June 1, 2021 at 1:32 pm

It’s doc rivers fault he babies this man. This can affect the team in a game 7 of a close game and he gets sent to the line it’s tied game and he bricks both. Is doc gonna be defending him then?

  7. Esther Famurewa

    June 1, 2021 at 1:34 pm

He needs to be traded to an organization that wants to work to improve his game offensively because if he was a dominate offensive player with that defense he has he could be a mvp tbh. The organization hasn’t helped develop him.

    • Kay Sheye

      June 1, 2021 at 2:09 pm

76ers fan here, what’s a good trade you would suggest then?

Philly should’ve traded Ben Simmons for Harden when they had the chance. Harden never misses frees throws 🤷🏽‍♂️

    • larryminzy

      June 1, 2021 at 3:32 pm

They never would’ve got Harden casual

  12. Rob Smith

    June 1, 2021 at 1:53 pm

At this point Ben Simmons has no potential. He’s like a athletic & taller version of Draymond. Philly won’t win a ring until they don’t get a legit perimeter scorer.

    • Keith London

      June 1, 2021 at 2:27 pm

That’s a wild take right there Ben Simmons actually helps a team more than Draymond, he can score just can shoot and if Draymond got traded it’s hard for me to see what type of value he has without Steph and Klay by his side. While Simmons would without a doubt still make a big impact

    • Rob Smith

      June 1, 2021 at 3:04 pm

@Keith London They both do the same thing. And Ben Simmons hasn’t really improved. He puts up the same numbers every year. He’s in his 4th season now

Dude washington won against the sixers without embiid, with the 2nd string squad playing the whole game and with terrible refs. Its not that deep guys.

does simmons shoot a worse FT% than playoff luka? if the answer is yes, then the 76’s are doomed. i would never want a player like simmons on my team knowing that he would be a hazzard come crunch time. easily one of the most over rated players in the nba. luka better figure that out as well or it will cost him the series against the clippers.
