JJ is right. It will be crazy difficult to come out of the West in the next couple of years.
I mean, you got the Warriors. Luka will improve. The Grizzlies had the second best record in the entire NBA and are super young. Pelicans looked good in the Playoffs and will get Zion back. Timberwolves are young. Suns are still there. Nuggets will get their second and third best player back. And lets not forget about Kawhi and PG.

JJ is great and he’s right the Celtics/ Heat defense will be a tougher challenge than any of the western conference playoff teams the Warriors have faced, but he fails to point out the fully healthy Warriors offense is something neither Celtics or Heat have faced either. He also tries to use 2016 vs Cavs finals as a reference but doesn’t give enough credit to losing momentum with Draymond’s suspension and the fact that Bogut was out. Both Dray and Bogut facilitated a lot of action with the Steph and Klay. The next scoring threat on that team was Harrison Barnes who stunk that postseason. So even if Celtics and Heat bring a greater physicality against Steph and Klay this year… they still have to contend with Poole and Wiggins and the other role players like Kuminga, Moody, Porter, Looney that have shown they can play smart and contribute as well.

We said this about Beal and Wall, Lillilard and McCollum and a bunch of other young duos. If the Celtics cannot make it this year they need to be paired with different players and Jaylen needs to step his game up. Brown is usually no where to be found when needed. Tatum is not exempt from taking another step either.

2016 Warriors are different from 2022 Warriors. Warriors shoot more 2’s then 3’s now. JJ and Skip Bayless are so stuck in the past. Sorry JJ Warriors smacked you around when you were with the Clippers.

    May 25, 2022 at 11:26 pm

Celtics v warriors should be entertaining. But at the end of the day the Warriors have no less than 4 40% shooters. They only need two of the 4 to go off on any given night to win. It’s really a mathematical probability that they will win a 7 game series.

JJR…in the words of MnM ….Nowadays everybody wanna talk like they got something to say
But nothing comes out when they move their lips
    Just a bunch of gibberish
    Bu they forgot about Klay

Oh and you didn’t even mention bridge from young to old Wiggins
Cmon JJ you usually talk a lot of sense in a room of fools but this time the only sense you’re making is NONsense😂
