he traded Luka because he is a secret Klutch Sports employee like Adam Silver. They wanted to give the Lakers another superstar in his prime to help Bron get a ring. AD is no longer that guy, that’s why he got sent away. Won’t be surprised if the league finds a way to send Jokic there as well.

Clearly it was an ownership decision. They will be around long after Nico is gone so it’s also clear they told him to say it was his idea to keep some of the heat off ownership.

Why didn’t they just trade Kyrie for Davis. This would have made more sense to the fan base. But it was it is. If the ownership didn’t want to pay Luka the super max nothing the Dallas fan base can do but accept it. The logical thing was to just Keep Luka and get AD for a package built around Kyrie Irving.

This whole dialogue is smoke and mirrors, hot air. The YouTube channel sports wars called it right from the start. This is part of a bigger deal where Dallas will be faded out and sold to Las Vegas and the Lakers will probably get one last championship with LeBron. It’s all about the moneyduh
