Easy solution to fix. Make the nba fans vote on who they want in the dunk contest and who they want for the 3 point contest. If they win, they can opt out for the future

The dunk contest is done, the best dunkers don’t even want to participate anymore. At this point I would rather bring youtubers to do the contest, they are miles ahead of the NBA talent in creating new dunks.

Baaaaaaad idea. Shallow and simple. Nobody wants to hear about players making more money and how out of touch are you. Besides, McClung is much better than all of them and they’re scared to go against him. This year’s contest was a real dud.

Make players who want to dunk submit a video portfolio of “possible dunks” and have a panel of separate judges pick. This allows a surprise for the actual judges & the audience.

The dunk contest is about dunks not names. Mac McClung would wipe the floor with any superstar player you name in that contest because he’s better at dunking than them

Lol… we are right at the cusp of super max deals being worth $1,000,0000 per game. If you just look at it per game played, Giannis, Curry, Embiid all made over a million dollars per game played. Dame made %68,000,000 to win the 3 point contest. A million dollar prize is going to get you the same field you have right now. A bunch of young guys who nobody knows. you want some real names in there… Give the guys who win the individual contest during All-star weekend and the All-star game MVP an exception to the 65 games played rule. Allow them to be awards eligible without hitting 65. Do the same thing for the guys on the team who win the In season tournament and give the team a tie breaker.

At this point, the best dunkers are the athletes online. We should allow them to compete. Have them send in the best dunks, let the viewers vote and then put them up against the nba starz. The money would be of value then and the dunks would be the best in history continuously

I can’t laugh enough hard… I recall Austin powers… Dr evil say 1M us$ … dude you mean 1B us$ … 1M is just enough to pay for Icecream and gas money pff wanna motivate… what if you want a place in the allstar game warrany of 6 man and not less than 20 minutes played plus the money price… move the needle is about EGO nothing moves more the oego than have a seat in the Allstar game and get exposure. yes the money helps but you need real motivation to players that earn big salary.

McClung can’t be allowed to compete against the stars. He isn’t really a basketball player, he literally practices dunks all day. Get only stars and young players. This season would’ve been great to have Castle, Cooper flag, VJ and Ace Bailey
