     Shouting out ‘Ball’ means you are the defender who are facing the opponent that have the ball in hand, on the other hand tag means when you are a low side defender, and one of your opponent is driving in / passing the ball to dunker spot , you will then shout tag and try to stop your opponent to score a bucket.

     It helps to let your teammates knows what you are doing and where you at on the Court.
