The Jazz are eliminated from postseason contention with the loss and wins by Golden State and Houston tonight.

Victor Wembanyama (222 blocks, 79 steals) becomes the first Rookie to eclipse 300+ combined blocks AND steals in a season since Shaquille O’Neal in 1992-93.

Since these stats were recorded in 1973-74, Wembanyama is the sixth Rookie to eclipse this mark, joining:

Shaquille O’Neal (1992-93)
David Robinson (1989-90)
Manute Bol (1985-86)
Hakeem Olajuwon (1984-85)
Terry Tyler (1978-79)

Victor Wembanyama is only the THIRD PLAYER to total 300+ combined blocks AND steals in a season since 2014-15:

Anthony Davis (2017-18) – 193 BLKS, 115 STLS

In the last five games Wemby is 6 for 29 shooting from three point. He should let other players be the perimeter shooters.

Keep Vassel , Keldon, Sochan and Branham. No need for trade .Look for the picks and free agents

Get rid of branham, Collins, and Graham, keep Wesley and champagnie, and sign Barlow to an extension similar to bassey and champagnie. I’d love for them to try and get bogdanovic from the knicks for Collins, branham, one first and a few seconds but it might take a couple firsts to offload Collins.
Take collier and shephard in the draft. Sign Grayson Allen to help with shooting and more play making.

      Jones, Vassell, Bogdanovic, Sochan, Wemby
      Wesley, Allen, KJ, Barlow/Bassey

Keep collier and Shepard on the bench and let them develop in the g league a bit. In year two they’ll probably be getting major playing time

All the people calling this team bad…when has a team which has players whose has no core players yet, barely anyone has player more than two years together, and the entire starting 5 are young asl have ever been a winning team?? Please enlighten me. They are learning it takes losses to get better.

Can Vassel pass to someone who cuts inside? It feels like he struggles there. People are going to camp the outside lane if he doesn’t figure out how to oop or bounce pass on some of those pick and roll cuts.
