Oh well, the stupidity continues I can’t guard Steph so I’ll just lay him out, knock him out. The nonsense you heard on the playground. There are Rules in the game of basketball, and no one can just knock out a guy because they want to. How about if the Warriors employ hack-a-shaq until he learns to shoot free throws. It’s funny how players from each era refuse to believe that the following era improved the game just like their era did. I searched YT and found a couple of videos of the old lakers’ games. Their entire defense is settled from the top of the key to the baseline under the Rim. And there’s very little movement of players within that small area. Because that’s how the game was played back then. Today’s game is played much different, with the playing area extended well past the 3-pts line and with the Ball moving in and out of that extended area. It requires a much different style of defense. I doubt very seriously they would adjust to how the warriors play. And 3pts is more than 2pts.

Shaq should be in that picture. they’re all about winning championships and shaq has 3 rings to show. Another argument is his lakers team are the last team to 3-peat so yes, Shaq should not be removed in that picture.

I disagree if they played according to the rules in 2017. The best way to defend agains Shaq is to keep him off the floor. If Shaq is required to come and show on pick and rolls then now he is trying to guard either Steph or KD on the perimeter. Shaq would be in foul trouble every game thus forcing the opposing coach to bench him and limit his time on the floor. This is the best defense against Shaq. Get him to pick up fouls by being forced to guard out on the perimeter and limit his time on the court due to foul trouble. If I were the warriors I would hunt Shaq on pick and rolls every time with either Steph or KD handling the ball. Shaq says he would touch up Steph, Klay, and KD. All that does is put you in foul trouble and put great free throw shooter on the free throw line. The way the call touch fouls now Shaq may end up fouling out of every game.

On paper, the Warriors had the better record than the Lakers. So, you’ll think that w/ home court advantage, the Warriors win. Sure, you have Steph, Klay and K.D. as your offensive studs. On the flip side, D-Fish is a better road player than home. (This is intentional.) Bean’s Bean. Zaza’s a-okay, but D.J. Diesel will make him barbecue khachapuri (Georgia’s national dish). The Lakers have a more crazy bench. There’d be so much switching, it’s crazy.
In the end, assuming that we go by 2009 rules (midway point), the Lakers somehow get it done in 7. Diesel gets Western Finals (Magic Johnson) MVP w/ probably 36-18-5. Of course, games aren’t about logic. Games are just pure balling.
Oh, and I figured that Mr. O’Neal would’ve won the game. No. Spice did.
