   The media has disrespected and discredited Jayson Tatum for YEARS! For years they wanted to break up JT and JB. Instead of celebrating the fact that they even made the finals at such a young age, they crucified them for not beating the Warriors! JT won ECF MVP that year and it’s conveniently ignored. He is the only player ever to lead their team in Points, Rebounds, and Assists in the finals and NOT win finals MVP. JB deserved it, but it’s not like JT didn’t show up. Jayson Tatum has already had multiple MVP worthy seasons, but the media keeps finding a reason to discredit him and the Celtics as a whole. How was Joe Mazzulla not even a top 3 coach of the year CANDIDATE when the Celtics won the title and dominated the regular season? How was Jaylen Brown not All NBA or All Defense last season but won ECF MVP and Finals MVP? How did the Cavaliers have more All Stars this season than the Celtics had last season? How was Jayson Tatum the only first team all NBA player on the Olympic team yet had multiple DNPs? Jaylen Brown wasn’t even on the Olympic team! Everyone in the media was saying the Mavs were gonna beat the Celtics and the Celtics spanked the Mavericks! Media narratives is the issue here. When the media is primarily based out of NYC and LA, of course they’re going to discredit the Celtics every chance they get, and it’s why the league is where it is now.

   1. Don’t forget Tatum IS the first to win ECF Finals 2. Brown played better defense in the finals however, Tatum led in points, rebounds, assists.
   3. Yall keep trying to push face of league on guys who aren’t accomplished nor do they want the title, u have a guy saying he wants it nd still gets shi on

     Yeah the narrative is annoying. Tatum got 4 of the 9 Finals MVP votes. 1 person voted for Brown over him, and that was the difference. This narrative that he didn’t play well is patently false. His shooting percentage was not good, but every other aspect of his game was excellent. He helped take away Dallas’ lob threat, played great and valuable defense, was getting double teamed but passed like a pro, and lead the entire freaking team in points, rebounds, and assists in the finals. There’s like 5 guys that have ever done that. Saying he had a poor finals is crazy if you look at anything other than his shooting %. You literally have to ignore everything but that in order to say he didn’t play well., and that is dishonest and a clear sign of hater bias. He didn’t shoot well, but he played excellently.

   Jayson just hasn’t been good in the biggest moments his stats say he’s doing everything but if you watch the actual game he’s not as impactful especially when he’s shooting so terribly like last year and even on team USA he was getting his ahh handed to him in the practices why you guys think ant came out talking trash about jt jokingly it’s because part of him really doesn’t think jt is that guy if you put him on a team alone he might just pull a better demar derozan he’s not good enough to change the tides of a franchise yes he has won and gotten the accomplishments but he cannot carry a team the guys on his team are just so good no one can see his deficiencies truthfully Jaylen brown outplayed him in every series in that playoff run don’t look at stats just watch the games throughout not just big moments but for entirety of games he was awful and I’m not saying he’s not an all star caliber player I just think he will never be a superstar his celling can’t get any higher there are just to many guys that have come before him that just have him outmatched in talent as a basketball player

    Jason Tatum’s game isn’t inspiring. His personality isn’t appealing. Many times it’s cringe. He’s a great talent like AD, Donovan Mitchell, Devin Booker, Kyrie in his prime type. A great talent but not an alpha or a superman or a guy you can count on to lead to wins.
