Love the Derrick Rose take. Man, it still hurts to know his career ended shortly due to the injuries. It was special on a nightly basis. Probably one of if not THEE biggest WHAT IF.

Joel Embiid: Greg Oden

Embiid might as well retire already.

Didn’t he steal the MVP from Joker because ESPN thinks it is not correct to give a white player MVP three times in a role?

Iβm sorry to say this but this is embidd fault
He has the choice to take the long term surgery that would sideline him next season yes but would be the operation he needs for his knee to not be so beat up
But he chooses arthroscopic and thatβll only get you by but for so long again
@Phenom2606

Penny Hardaway would have been the GOAT potentially if not for injuries. He was way better than D Rose etc.

I really hope Embiid and the 76’ers don’t think the knee is going to get better when they keep taking pieces out of it?

The biggest “what-if” is definitely Len Bias.
The history of basketball would be different if he doesn’t die.
The GOAT discussion would be different if Bird wins 5-6 titles.

Derrick Rose take isn’t fair to D Rose. Bro just got hurt, he had good conditioning but ish happens.
Embiid has never had good conditioning and has been on record saying he enjoys being bigger than most players because he can push them around.
Zion doesnt play the same way but it’s a cautionary tale for him. Better take care of your conditioning or you could derail your career like Embiid seems to be doing. Even if the surgery goes well and he starts taking his diet/conditioning seriously, I don’t see a man that size getting better or back to prime condition after multiple injuries/surgeries. It would take a level of dieting and conditioning that I just dont think he has…
I wish him the best tho.

Embid won an mvp. Zion has played less than half the games he has been eligible for.
@the_p.s.a6384
April 3, 2025 at 10:54 pm
@ are we looking at the same video ?? Same can be said for Joel. I understand he won the MVP but clearly Jokic was and still is better than him, they gave him that because he wouldnβt stop crying. Joel is older and ainβt getting younger or healthy yet we got people on here still making excuses. Zion just like Joel is a monster on the court so whatβs the difference? It ainβt one.
