Shake Milton explains his name and his 39-point breakout vs. the Clippers | The Jump

Published

on

Philadelphia 76ers guard Shake Milton joins Rachel Nichols, Ramona Shelburne and Clinton Yates to discuss his 39-point breakout performance vs. the LA Clippers, what Brett Brown told him about not being in the rotation, how playing in the G League for the Delaware Blue Coats helped him, the Sixers’ poor road record, how he got his nickname, his relationship with former SMU coach Larry Brown. They then (4:44) play “What Were You Thinking?”, asking him about his dunk on Patrick Beverley and having to play a G League and NBA game in the same day.

Good, followed him when he was at G-league for Wilmington, it’s good to see him show how you can go from Delaware and the G-league to national attention.

Does anyone else notice how Shake is in a chair that makes him be at the same height as the women and Clinton has a good few inches on all of them. Shake is 6”5 and taller than all of them easily
