Russell Westbrook is averaging a ridiculous amount of points in the paint since Jan. 1 | The Jump

Published

on

Rachel Nichols, Brian Windhorst and Matt Barnes play the “Stat Market,” discussing Houston Rockets guard Russell Westbrook leading the NBA — meaning players like Giannis Antetokounmpo — in points in the paint since Jan. 1, and (2:45) LeBron James, Anthony Davis and the Los Angeles Lakers being ahead of the LA Clippers in defensive efficiency, despite the latter having Kawhi Leonard and Paul George.

Barnes has good understanding of game. You will like to see him how he discusses game. Which is unlike to most players these days.

Matt Barnes has come into his own. He’s quite possibly the best Analyst in the game and his interviewing skills are superb

Lol “James scoring 40 is not a recipe for winning”, except it has been. James has come down from 40ppg because teams are putting so much of their defensive focus on him and also he hasn’t been shooting well. That being said, yes it is good that Westbrook is taking off some of the load, but James can still score 36-40 and this team will win. PS Let’s gooooo Westbrook. I’m loving it

Yo if westbrook and Greek freak played together,,, it would be the most unstoppable aggressive duo ever

I have said it before and Ill say it again, Russ is a 6 inch shorter 30 – 50 pounds lighter, lower IQ Lebron James. Imagine a Russ at Lebrons size, I mean its scary af to think about.

it’s funny how they seem to try to convince themselves of things. the rockets are playing the same they always have. the only real change was switching westbrook for capela. they were also able to get bigger wings which they have been missing since ariza and Luc mbah a moute left.

The reason the lakers are ahead of the clippers in defense bc Leonard and George is constantly in and out the line up

A little guard averaging the most points in the paint it’s both respectable and alarming considering there are still old school centres in the league

Westbrook layup package got better..at first if he wasn’t dunking it he’ll do some crazy lay up attempt but now he’s more poised
