Rachel Nichols, Ramona Shelburne and Chiney Ogwumike all give rave reviews to the early days of Russell Westbrook on the Houston Rockets, where the speedy point guard has been pushing the pace of Mike D’Antoni’s team and fitting in nicely next to James Harden.

Russell Westbrook is shooting 60% tries shooting percentage. 7% point higher than his career average.

To put in context, curry and harden had the highest TS% as high volume guards in the league . They had 64% and 61% last season.

I feel like Rachel Nichols is the type of person who thinks what everyone else thinks…she never really has her own unique opinions or hot takes….

Russ’s durability and athletism at his age after multiple knee surgeries is amazing. Then you factor in his 100% effort on every play and it’s just ridiculous. ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ

Lowkey the league should be a little worried. Harden is averaging career low FG% and still putting up 40 point games. When his shot starts to fall…๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ

In the playoffs they not gone be able to trade off they will lose but if mike dan antoni smart during the playoffs he should make russ the primary ball handler…harden will knock down the shots and conserve energy as well as tire the other team down from the pace russ will be running
