I hope they play Russell at the 2 and force him to adapt and play offball like we saw alot in Houston. Take the ball out of his hands.

2 guard that can’t shoot yeah that smart

      September 27, 2022 at 1:51 pm

@Celly Cell he can’t shoot at the one either, with the ball contantly in his hands, so what’s your point?

I wish they would do a highlight reel of Lebron clanking threes and always being last back on defense…. But you know they ain’t gonna do that.🥸

Russ has got to adjust to his loss of athleticism. He can’t posterise the entire league anymore without the wear and tear on his body. Gotta develop a solid shot from outside and learn to finish without punishing his knees and legs.

    • Litesprof

      September 27, 2022 at 12:58 pm

There is no adjustment for Russ. The ball need to be in his hands and LBJ and AD need to play off ball that is the only way they can win games. You don’t ask someone that can’t shoot to stand at the 3pt line to shoot. That’s was bad coaching last year and if DH intend to do the same thing then it will be bad coaching this year. You need to maximize the players strength not weekends.

    • jimmy Conway

      September 27, 2022 at 1:21 pm

@Litesprof the problem with your statement is that the ball was in his hand all year last season and he was just terrible. LeBron had his lowest assist average in years trying to defer to Russ. The ball needs to be LeBron’s hand and Russ needs to run the second unit. Russ is very durable that’s his best contribution to the Lakers. He’ll never be able to shoot or play off the ball because of his very low basketball IQ. So his best role is off the bench as a spark plug backup that can attack the rim against second units.

Bro shut up he’s 33 he was dunking last year . Curry is 35 it’s 2022 lol that’s not even a thing anymore. Lebron still
Faster than most the league. Lol Russ has to hit threes he blows by most of his defenders

I’m just waiting for them to start talking about AD’s decline since the bubble 😴

  10. Ike.O

    September 27, 2022 at 12:48 pm

Hey RJ.. you’re telling Westbrook to adjust and do what the teams needs right? Why can’t the same thing be said about Ben Simmons? He hasn’t adjusted to the NBA, where everyone is spreading the floor and shooting perimeter shots. Ben Simmons has never adjusted or helped his teams by working on his shooting and making life for his teammates easier on offense in the half court lol…. Why does he get a pass and people say that he doesn’t need to shoot, including you? lmaoooooo… unbelievable.

    • Marcus Carson Sr

      September 27, 2022 at 1:40 pm

Naw he just finds open shooter!!! Your reaching

  11. Litesprof

    September 27, 2022 at 12:52 pm

The ball need to be in Russ hands. You don’t make someone that can’t shoot be the recepeant on a pass. He has to run the offense and set people up. Russ did not do anything wrong it was just focus on LBJ instead of making the offense work properly. LBJ can play off ball and AD but there is no way for Russ to play that way.

    • Phillip

      September 27, 2022 at 1:07 pm

Russ having the ball in his hand as a facilitator also means turnovers. It’s just not a good fit. You can’t adjust a player who has too many flaws. Trade this dude.

    • Fire Angel Luffo

      September 27, 2022 at 10:17 pm

@Phillip lol like the man literally had a high usage rate and had plenty of moments when Bron and AD missed time. Bron even extended his range for Russ.

  12. Priyo Kh

    September 27, 2022 at 12:53 pm

Never seen him taking serious on defending or screening or cutting
He is a ghost when he doesn’t have the ball
He will realize next year when nobody wants to pay him
Top team will not want him for sure and he would not be helpful in tanking or players development for bottom team

  13. Priyo Kh

    September 27, 2022 at 12:58 pm

He might be the worst offensive player in the league when he doesn’t have the ball
He is a ghost when he doesn’t have the ball

What’s effed up is ya’ll showing his lowlights. Lebron averaged just as many TO per game. He just played less.

    September 28, 2022 at 9:40 pm

I’m a laker fan. Hopefully we dont get talked about as much this season. But when it comes to russ. It’s up to him, he’s been trashed the past season, but he’s the only one who can erase that year. Skip and Shannon want him out the league for some reason idk why.

  20. Lawrence Graves

    September 28, 2022 at 9:58 pm

For the most part AD Bron & Russ all excel at similar things and they all struggle at the same things. Which is why they have not and will never work as a trio.
