I have not seen anything in Bronny that says he has NBA potential. I saw kids playing against him and on the same team that looked way better than. Bronny. Also what young player in the league wants to spend his first season with his father?

Yeah Amari Bailey way better. Bronny looks like the average high school player, just with some hops. I agree doesn’t look league bound. But his name will take him far.

His son reminds me of lonzo ball he does everything well not great

      February 21, 2022 at 5:30 pm

@deryck roberts Perfect comparison. The only issue is this: when Lonzo was in high school, he did everything great among his peers lol you could tell he was an NBA talent. Bronny doesn’t really stand out among his peers (my analysis based on Youtube highlights). In most cases, to make it to the NBA you have to stand out high school, because the talent pool will only increase the higher you go.

@Alex F not a Lebron fan, but check the rankings, he’s a top 6 combo guard on his class. He can play.

@Alex F I can agree my only comeback for bronny his highschool has nba talent for about 10 players so he playing with high level talent

Golden State needs to draft Bronny so that Steph and Lebron can together that would just be hilarious.

Bron need to get out of that kids way and let him walk alone. Heck, he may need a few years in college.

      February 21, 2022 at 3:35 pm

Why college? His father paved the way for him too fast track into a life he feels his son is prepared for. Who are we to question another persons aptitude?

Hes setting him up to fail bigtime , too much hype and expection can ruin that kid life and career Basketball wise

      February 21, 2022 at 2:35 pm

Lebron probably would have won more championships if he wasn’t scrutinized as heavily as he was, as the next best player as young as 16-17.

    • John Redcorn

      February 21, 2022 at 6:49 pm

The kid is extremely wealthy and set for life, there are no consequences here. He’s going to straight regardless. Your just weak mentally and have never had anyone expect anything out of you.

but under the current nba drafting rule.. Bronny will be eligible in 2024.. his dad, LeBron will be 40 yrs old by then.. 🤷🏼‍♂️

    IF he gets drafted

  9. Holly Wood

    February 21, 2022 at 2:45 pm

Y’all talking like he NBA ready he has one year left and I doubt he will be an all American

  10. JACKOTACO

    February 21, 2022 at 2:46 pm

Bronny is not currently an NBA caliber player. He’s barely a four star recruit. There have been plenty of FIVE star recruits who couldn’t cut it in the NCAA let alone in the NBA.

LeBron is clearly using nepotism here to get his son in the league. I do not think any team within the lottery would come close drafting Bronny. GM’s are not that dumb. Maybe a championship contender at 29 and 30 will do it because it could help them add another piece to help them win a title or another. Hence, LeBron would be chasing another ring.

But as I said, this kid does not have his father’s genetics. He does not have NBA level talent. He’s not even the best player on Sierra Canyon.

    • mads

      February 21, 2022 at 5:02 pm

He’s ranked top 30 and I wouldn’t expect the best player on a top 10 team with 5 D1 seniors to be a junior. He’s easily a top 3 player on his team and will definitely make a leap his senior year.

The Golden State Warriors select Lebro….Bronny James.

    February 21, 2022 at 3:40 pm

Anyone here who watches AAU or follow whichever league Bronny is in, know if he’s even good enough to make the NBA outside of being LeBron’s son?

    • mads

      February 21, 2022 at 5:00 pm

He’s no one to slack on. He has some work to do, as does every other player in hs. He can definitely be drafted if he keeps getting better.

I DO NOT AGREE WITH STEPHEN A SMITH AT ALL.

Bronny is a decent player but if he wasn’t Lebron’s son he would not be on the radar. 🤷🏾‍♂️

    • Beckett Tratenberg

      February 21, 2022 at 5:51 pm

He prob wouldn’t but if u watch his games he’s way above decent he’s very very good

    • John Redcorn

      February 21, 2022 at 6:47 pm

Stephen A is talking to college coaches and scouts who all say he’s nice. Bronny can hoop!

WE’LL LISTEN TO THE REAL PROFESSIONAL OVER YOU LOL.

    February 21, 2022 at 4:48 pm

Congrats you get geriatric Lebron and 6’2″ Bronny? Hmm. Genuine question about Bronny, is he that good? Maybe a Trae Young type? Michael Conley potential maybe?

    • Go Bucks

      February 21, 2022 at 6:27 pm

      He’s a top 35 player

Bronny is gonna get drafted to the “Cavs” and Lebron is gonna go with and end his career on his hometown floor! “BET”!!.. 👊🏽

    February 21, 2022 at 7:42 pm

Broony is ok. He is not on a standout star as of Yet. He just a normal looking kid playing H.S. Not mcdonalds all American

  21. R.J.

    February 21, 2022 at 8:25 pm

I hope LeBron can play with Bronny, but having seen Michael Jordan’s sons play in high school and into college (they went to high school close to mine), at the same time, I don’t want LeBron to control his son’s future, already making him a one-and-done player before he can graduate high school. Let Bronny grow up and make his own decisions.

the boston celtics deserve LEBRON and BRONNY they would sell out every game it would be great for the NBA ratings and ticket sales

    Cronyism

  24. Paul M

    February 21, 2022 at 9:13 pm

The sad part is if Bronny makes it into the league. It’s not because of his skill on the coast but rather because Lebron said he will play where ever Bronny goes.

By Lebron saying this guarantees that Bronny will be on an nba team, but not because he earned it.
