A far cry from whatever that game was two nights ago. Back on track with a win in a gritty slugfest against these Wolves. Keep going Raptors

I’m just so happy how he evolved man. He clearly loves to be part of Toronto and I can’t blame him.

Thaddeus Young has a nice game. Seems a bit nervous but once he gets used to the team he’s a good piece. Boucher and Achiuwa gave the Raptors momentum when they hit those back to back 3s from opposite corners.

Respect to Gary Trent JR with another 30 point game in this Raps win! Shout out Siakam with 17 points, 9 assist and 9 rebounds. Also, respect to Thaddeus Young & Precious Achiuwa for their combined 21 points off the bench. And Boucher with his 10 rebounds & 2 blocks. 💪🏾

And shout out to Gary Trent *Senior* for rocking that mink coat without taking it off for the *entire* game.

    We The North.

The Raptors kept their TOs down. They only had 13 TOs compared to Minnesota’s 17 TOs. That was the difference in the game. If you keep your TOs down, rebound the ball, and play great defense you’re going to win a lot of games on the road.

towns sidekicks failed him tonight. edwards and dlo were both ineffective. they need to find a way to help dlo get some easier shots. tell him to cut more; set some offball screens to free him. stop having him stand in the corners and do nth. dlo needs to do a better job of knocking down his shots..can’t expect towns to carry the offense everynight.

Good game for the Raps getting a win without Fred and Thaddeus made a solid contribution. Nice to see some bench production.

    ~THAD YOUNG~

    To all the doubters,

sometimes fans/casuals/basketball heads don’t look at the big picture.. they pull up some stats and assume the worst instead of the best you know. The raptors main issue and concern this season so far .. was and is: the damn bench. This bench needed an injection of life back in them, and honestly I don’t think there is better player/candidate then a seasoned vet like Thad. Ontop of that dudes game would compliment any team in the league!! especially the raptors who have struggled with playmaking, which is none existent outside of Siakam and FVV.. which you have to also consider that Siakam has only recently really expanded his role as a facilitator for this team this season, so imagine he didn’t we would be in even more of a predicament and dire situation then we’re already in currently. Thad is perfect for this team in so many ways, he’s averaged at least 10 PPG in 13/15 seasons.. that’s incredible consistency (That includes his rookie season and his time in SA due to extremely limited minutes/role) that says a lot in itself. Dudes been in so many different systems on many different teams, he’s played under the tutelage of many great coaches.. he’s a walking basketball sponge LOL. I don’t see his numbers slowing down any time soon either he’s got plenty left in the tank. He’s averaged career highs in AST, FG%, 3PT% all recently and in the later part of his career which are all good signs. 2 years ago he was a 6MOTY candidate… he’s played no less then 63 games in a season in his entire 15 year career.. man I can keep going on and on hes just a solid player on and off the court. In terms of resigning him the raptors will definitely take advantage of his bird rights and I believe they’ll sign him to a 2 year/14MIL dollar deal. Thad Young is exactly what the raptors needed!!! Of course we didn’t stress all of the teams issue but this is a great start.. but the most important thing out of the many things this Vet brings to a team, is his crucial playoff experience and he has plenty! Looking forward to the rest of the season great W tonight in Minnesota 🙌
